Indian Lake Park is a 177-acre, city owned park.  This delightful retreat is an ideal location not only for fishermen, but for picnickers and campers alike.  In addition to the 44-acre, no wake lake, the Park has many tree-shaded areas for the non-fisherman, as well.  A lovely two-mile nature interpretive trail encompasses the lake and is great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing in the winter. The lake has a roped-off swimming area (swim at your own risk-no lifeguard) and kayaks and a canoe are available for rent. We offer full hook up RV sites, water and electric only sites, electric sites, primitive tent sites and cabins.  We're not fancy, and that's part of our charm! Our cabins have been welcoming guests since the 1980s, and while they may show a little age, we take pride in providing clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable accommodations for our visitors. If you're looking for luxury, high-end finishes, or all the bells and whistles, our cabins probably aren't for you. But if you're looking for a peaceful getaway where you can enjoy the beauty of nature without sleeping on the ground, you've come to the right place! Think of it as glamping with a rustic twist! Our park managers and caretakers work hard to maintain our cabins and grounds, and we continually make improvements as our budget allows.
