Valdez Glacier Campground is a park located near Valdez, Alaska. It features 21 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides free WiFi, allows leased pets (no longer than 6-foot leashes), and has a dump station.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include an outdoor pavilion, picnic tables, fire circles, and grills. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as hiking, ice-fishing, and whale watching.   Attractions The campground is near attractions like: • Chugach National Forest • Nelchina Public Use Area • Denali National Park and Preserve

After getting flooded out year after year camping by the bridge, AK Expeditions secured a permanent spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Currently offering 10 sites for either a tent or RV, as well as 4 premium outfitted tent sites for those who don't want the hassle of packing and setting up their own equipment. Camp is within walking distance to The Grubstake food truck, a country store and Uncle Tom's tavern. The camp is ideally situated for fishing the Copper and as a base for travels down the McCarthy Road to Kennicott and McCarthy inside Wrangell-St Elias National Park!
