General

Proof of negative coggins required. Sorry, we DO NOT rent or provide horses. No non-equestrian camping allowed. No stallions. 2 night minimum stay required on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.

KNOW YOUR RIG SIZE!

A rig is the length of the truck and trailer TOGETHER. This reservation system asks for your "rig" size but stops at 45ft, so it refers to trailer only and will not filter out sites that are too small for you. It is up to you to KNOW YOUR RIG SIZE, note the MAX SIZE we have listed for each, and choose an appropriate campsite. We have small sites and large sites. Some sites have a smaller maximum rig size due to lack of maneuver room, or being oversize can block the entrance to and/or protrude into other sites. If book too small of a site thinking you can unhook, more than likely you'll have to park the tow vehicle somewhere else because there is still no room in the site for it. The rig shown in the site pics is 40ft!

My absolutely favorite place to go camp and trail ride. Tom and Stephanie have created a 5 star campground. Clean restrooms, and showers. Great pavilion with an airconditioned space, kitchen, and a large patio area. Great for groups. Camp sites are always neat. Great covered pens and open pens that are in shade. Trails are extensive and mostly shaded in those beautiful pines.

You can tell a horse person designed the facility. The pens are sturdy, good footing and have an extra latch tied with baling twine for safety. They have a large turnout that can be used for an hour to give your horse time to move. My mare always stocks up stalled. This turnout helped keep that to a minimum. The bathroom and showers were clean. They had a pavilion that had games and a small kitchenette. The trails are well marked and maintained. I trailered 4 1/2 hours and it was well worth it. I’ve never camped at a place where I hung out with so many camping neighbors that I just met. The owners are quick to help you find your site and get parked. They were visible but not intrusive. I’ll be back.

TbarS is a great Horse Camp, every site has electric and water hookups! The restrooms and shower rooms are better than any other horse camp that I have been to! The owners are the best people, they come out and greet and assist in getting into your campsite, and they are always available if you need anything! The camp is always clean and well up kept at all times! Highly recommend TbarS to all equestrians!

What an amazing place owned by the nicest couple! So helpful & friendly, we can't wait to come back---this is our new favorite place to bring the horses! The fact that they offer a nice confined pasture for everyone's horses to take turns grazing in is just an unbelievable bonus! The pavilion w/ big fully equipped kitchen/ dining area & wonderfully decorated bathrooms & showers are just the best we've ever seen in a campground!! Thank you Tom & Stephanie for making this possible for people to enjoy!

I have wanted to go to TbarS for a while and finally had the opportunity. The facility was very nice and clean. The ability to get in and out of your reserved spot with your horse trailer was easy. Tom and Stephanie are so helpful and seem to want to make your stay as nice as it can be. The trails in the David Crockett national Forest were great to ride on. I highly recommend TBarS Horse Camp.
