The Fossil Ridge Campground is located in the beautiful Texas town of Denison and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. The campground is at Eisenhower Park, and is known for its breathtaking natural terrain, hiking and ATV trails and modern marina. Campers can look forward to a number of offsite attractions such as the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, Fairfield Lake State Park and the Waterloo Lake Regional Park. Among these sites, travelers can enjoy great sight seeing and outdoor fun like wildlife viewing, hiking, fishing, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. Grandpappy Point Marina, Grayson County Frontier Village and the Red River Railroad Museum are other camper favorites. Amenities at the park include: water, sewerage, picnic tables, lantern posts, electrical hookups and fire rings/grills. Hope to see you soon!
