Some areas are boulders, pools, and turbulent water—great to watch or play in. One large area towards the end of the campground is a calm wading area good for children (with careful supervision of course), and just past that is a deeper section, 5’-7’ deep, that is good for swimming.  

Neatly tucked into a hemlock grove, you will have convenient access for on-property fishing and hiking. This site is also 15 minutes from Deep Creek Lake, western Maryland's premier 4 season resort area. This campsite is setup for winter camping, including heat for the primary tent.
