Campers can look forward to a number of great local attractions like the John C. Beasley Municipal Golf Course, Beeville Art Museum and the Coastal Bend College’s Simon Michael Art Gallery. The area around the campground is also well-known for birding, and nature enthusiasts can catch sights of native Texans, Green Jays or Painted Buntings while hiking and exploring the area. Other visitor favorites are The Berclair Mansion & McClanahan House, the Calaboose Museum in Skidmore and the Mercantile Store in Mineral.
