If you like large, beautiful trees and wide-open green space, you will love Waco RV Park. Cradled in its own pocket of undisturbed Texas landscape, with Shaw Creek circling its border, it offers the rare combination of country and convenience. We are a casual, inviting slice of nature all with full hookups for both 30 and 50 amps. We are a small family-owned park. We host daily, short-term and longer-term campers. We are not fancy and don’t have some of the amenities that the big parks have, but if you want to enjoy your time here, you will. If you want a place to stay where you can view the Texas stars that shine so bright, this is the place!  From here it is only 8.8 miles and 13 minutes to the Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco; 7.3 miles and 8 minutes to McLane Stadium; and 7.9 miles and 10 minutes from Baylor University campus. The beautiful sunset you see is at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir, less than 4 miles away. Our guests enjoy a large, beautiful covered Pavilion for individual relaxation or socializing with family and friends. The Pavilion is the perfect place for dinner or just forgetting the cares of the day. Our on-site laundry is available to our guests 24/7. Our standard rates are: $37 daily; $230 weekly (7 nights); and $400 plus electricity (and refundable electricity deposit) The daily and weekly rates include electricity. Taking Exit 328 on I35 and a quick hop 1.7 miles East of the interstate on Greig Drive, we are the perfect mid-way point for travelers between Dallas and Austin as well as Snow Birds or Winter Texans as we like to call y'all! The Riverview Campground is located in the beautiful, bustling city of Waco and is a great spot to enjoy a fun and relaxing southern escape. The Live Oak Ridge Park is located at the breathtaking Belton Lake, and is a nature-lover's paradise. Campers can look forward to excellent scenic viewing, large oak trees, fresh air and plenty of shares. The campsites are flat and grassy with an abundance of wildflowers. Travelers can enjoy birding, so when you visit, keep your eyes open for great blue herons, hawks, bobwhite quail, geese, ducks and Rio Grande turkey. There's also plenty of open water space for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. There's also a number of excellent nearby attractions such as Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Miller Spring Park, Dana Peak Park and the Miller Spring Nature Center. Apart from these spectacular natural attractions, there's great historic sites like the Twelve Oaks Historic Mansion, Bell County Museum, Robertson Plantation and there's also activities like the Salado Winery and Summer Fun Water Park. Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

At the family-owned and operated Cosmic Duck RV Park, we're proud to offer a quiet, clean, and secluded spot for long term stays, travelers, and modern day nomads to relax and call home. Our park provides friendly country livin’ with big city access. We are conveniently located away from traffic noise off State Highway 77 in Milam County—near the junction with State Highway 79 and just a few miles north of the small town of Rockdale, TX. We are “in the heart of the Texas Triangle” between San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas with easy access to Interstate 10, Interstate 35, and Interstate 45. This means a central location less than one hour’s drive from our closer metro neighbors Waco, Austin, and College Station, TX. Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the Park in the morning and at night. Two cranes, one white, and one gray, visit the pond regularly. Make Cosmic Duck RV Park your new home.
