The excitement of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing comes to Bristol, Tennessee twice a year, and Pole Position Campground puts you in the midst of all the heart-pounding action. Next to the famed Bristol Motor Speedway, Pole Position Campground is an easy walk from the race track. Pole Position offers hundreds of 20’ x 50’ level camping sites available in three tiers. Each site offers full hookups with 50 amp electric service and our campground includes a large bathhouse with full shower facilities.  In 2020, the campground will be open March 30th-April 6th, June 18th - June 22nd, and September 13th-September 20th. Explore the natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley in a pastoral farm setting surrounded by the beauty & grace of llamas.  The Lazy Llama Campground is a unique new family owned and operated campground in Northeast Tennessee.  The campground is part of a 22-acre llama farm which is home to over 40 llamas and various other livestock including miniature donkeys and friendly emus.  It features 31 campsites nestled among several large 40+ year-old maple trees.  Most of the sites are big-rig friendly including six 35' x 75'-100' pull-through accessible. The park provides free excellent WiFi (150 mbps), sewer, water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical service at all sites.  We are pet-friendly of course with large green space to walk your dogs.  Unique Activities  The park includes llama trails through the woods and pastures for walking among the animals on the farm, Storytelling Llama Hikes, and llama activities.
