If you are looking for peace and quiet we are where you want to be!  Mountain Meadows RV Park sits at the base of the mountains and has great high desert views of the surrounding mountains and great views of the New Mexico sunrises and sunsets!  All other parks in the area are off the highway and near the train tracks and we are off the highway approximately two and a half miles and will only hear the highway traffic and trains in the faint distance.  Mountain Meadows RV Park is located between Alamogordo/Tularosa, New Mexico and is the perfect base camp for a number of great local attractions. Close to Alamogordo, the campsite offer campers the chance to explore the White Sands National Monument, Space Museum, Cloudcroft, Sunspot, Valley of Fires, Ruidoso, and the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site. Visitors can also look forward to excellent hiking and mountain biking opportunities at the campground and even 2 Pistachio Farms nearby if you like to pick nuts or have a fancy for wine! The campground is clean and well-managed with friendly, helpful staff so know that you'll be well taken care of during your stay. Edgington RV Park is located 1/2 mile north of Alamogordo. Area attractions include White Sands National Monument, Organ Mountains National Monument, Lincoln National Forest, The New Mexico Museum of Space History, White Sands Missile Range Museum, Three Rivers Petroglyph Site, Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino, Historic Lincoln, the Billy The Kid Scenic Byway, historic Fort Stanton, The Spencer Center for the Performing Arts, local pistachio ranches and wineries, and annual events such as the White Sands Balloon Festival and Trinity Site tours.

Set against the breathtaking Sacramento Mountains, the Oliver Lee Memorial park features a historic ranch house, quiet camping in the Chihuahuan Desert, and the unique oasis of pools of water under the cottonwood trees of Dog Canyon. The Upper Karr Recreation Area is located in the Lincoln National Forest off the Sunspot Scenic Byway, and is one of the most picturesque campgrounds in the area. Known for gorgeous green mountain ranges and crisp, fresh air, campers often stay on site during their entire visit. Others take advantage of nearby attractions such as the White Sands National Monument in the east, and the San Andres National Wildlife Refuge. There's you'll find amazing creatures that have adapted and learned to thrive in sometimes unbearable desert conditions. Expect some stellar trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, as well as great wildlife watching around the campground.

Enjoy the widely dispersed camp sites of the Silver Overflow Campground in the Lincoln National Forest. Popular for its showers and musician presentations at the silver Amphitheater, the campground is idyllic and bustling with activity and fun, especially during the summer months. Learn about the outdoors through the amphitheater's visitor programs, and go roaming around the various trails and paths. With gorgeous scenes and curious wildlife, you and your group will stay engaged and entertained throughout your trip. Immediately adjacent to the village of Cloudcroft is the Deerhead Campground. The area is beautiful, characterized by acres of rolling hills and untouched mountain ranges. Enjoy sight seeing, gorgeous New Mexico sunrises and sunsets, and natural trails that are great for hiking and biking excursions. Visitors can also look forward to the quaint village of Cloudcroft where they can enjoy excellent dining options and shops.

The Apache Campground is located in the Lincoln National Forest and offers campers 25 sites. At an almost 9,000 foot elevation, visitors can enjoy excellent, moderate weather and thick, thriving forestry. Bare bones camping is the most popular activity at this site, but campers also enjoy the spectacular mountain ranges at dawn and dusk where they can view amazing sky shows. Hiking and biking are also common at this site, as is picnicking.

Sleepy Grass Campground is one of the busiest in the Lincoln National Forest, and is situated near the tiny village of Cloudcroft. Visitors enjoy the La Pasada Encantada Trail, an interpretative hiking trail that takes you around the beautiful hills and small valleys of the area. Wildlife viewing and picnicking are also popular past times at this campsite.

White Sands Community offers RV spaces and remodeled manufactured in scenic Alamogordo New Mexico. Located in a mild climate, this area is a gorgeous area with plenty to see and do. Located in the Lincoln National Forest is the Slide Group Campground which can accommodate up to 90 people. Surrounded by mixed evergreen and aspen, this site is known for immersing visitors in a primitive wildlife environment where they can pause and appreciate nature. Access to the National Recreation Rim Trail can be found at the site, and there are plenty of amenities to ensure that groups can enjoy social events and plan group activities with ease.
