The Doney Lake Cabin is located at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, and is a favorite among campers looking to immerse themselves in a gorgeous natural setting where fishing is easy and relaxing. Get ready for a number of excellent outdoor activities other than fishing. Campers can look forward to big game hunting, nature viewing, wildlife viewing for elk, deer and moose and hiking along the beautiful and challenging paths. Winter sports are also popular, so look forward to snow shoeing, sledding and skiing. At a high elevation, campers can expect mild summers and fresh air, so pack a bag and head up to the Doney Lake Cabin. The site is very primitive and doesn't include water, so be sure to bring all the supplies you'll need!

The Warm Springs Campground and Picnic Area is located on two acres of gorgeous lodgepole forest. The Warm Springs Creek runs adjacent to the campground and is perfect for fishing and wildlife viewing, with excellent scenes at dawn and dusk. Be sure to pack gear for hiking and mountain biking, and while your outside, keep yours eyes peel for wildlife like elk and curious small animals. Of course, picnicking is another common activity at this park, so remember to pack big spray and blankets!

Serene, beautiful and off the beaten Montana trail is the Racetrack Cabin. The small building is tucked away within the dense forest and is well-known is a quiet safe-haven for hunters, and retreat from the curious bears roaming around outside. At an elevation of over 6,300 feet, expect a cool climate and acres of green vegetation. Popular outdoor activities include: hiking the various trails, or trout fishing at Racetrack Creek. Vacationers can also look forward to winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing. An hour drive from the cabin will take campers to the city for supplies, fine, local dining and even some live music or a historic site or two. 

Just a few miles from the gorgeous Georgetown Lake is the Cable Mountain Campground. It's also just north of Flint Creek, and that makes this campground excellent for trout fishing. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, visitors can look forward to fresh, clean air and lush forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Campers can also expect water skiing, boating and swimming, as well as stargazing at night. This is a truly excellent spot for exploring the expansive outdoors of Montana. 

The Racetrack Campground is located in southwest Montana near the Racetrack Creek, and is surrounded by the gorgeous pines and firs native to Montana. Visitors can look forward to excellent trout fishing at the creek, as well as plenty of space for picnicking and enjoying group fun. There's also natural paths to explore, so be sure to do some hiking and biking and pause every now and again to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area. Deer, elk and moose are common. 

The Philipsburg Bay Campground is adjacent Georgetown lake, and is perfect for a quiet yet adventure-filled outdoor experience. The site is popular for trout fishing, but is also great for wildlife viewing outside of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, moose and even bears, as well as the sights and smells of the gorgeous lush forests. Canoeing and boating are also popular, as is hiking and horseback riding. The high elevation ensures excellent weather for all kinds of activities, so be sure to plan a long trip to experience it all!

The Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Lodgepole Pine Forests of southwestern Montana, and runs adjacent to the Warms Springs Creek. Campers can look forward to a number of great outdoor activities, all within acres and acres of fresh, gorgeous pines, and at an elevation of over 3,000 feet. Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. Visitors can expect excellent rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout fishing at the lake and plenty of room for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake. Welcome to Ekstroms’!  We are located just a two minute drive off I-90, but in those two minutes the sounds of cars are replaced by the rustling of ponderosas and the water of Rock Creek that is just a minute's walk from your campsite and home to world-renowned fly fishing.  Ekstrom’s Stage Station is a collection of historic log buildings reassembled along Rock Creek that functions as a campground today. The sites are  situated in a large grassy meadow surrounded by tall pine trees and are quaint and quiet, comfortably accommodating RV’s up to 55′ in length. (Please call ahead regarding availability for larger RV’s.) In addition to the happy campground, we have two lovely tiny houses, a pair of rustic cabins, and a hundred year old schoolhouse available for your stay.  We offer all the essentials for a comfortable camping experience— restrooms, hot showers, Wi-Fi, electric hookups, and laundry available onsite—in a rustic, laid-back environment.
