The area is known for its wildlife, so keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. Boating and fishing at the lake are also very common, so be sure to take advantage of the water and have a great time. 

The Big Therriault Lake Campground is located in the Kootenai National Forest and is a gorgeous blend of light blue lake water, clear skies and thick, lush forests all around the lake. Popular for fishing, a wide variety of trout can be caught at the lake, and campers can also look forward to hiking. Strap on those hiking boots and mountain biking shoes for an adventure through the hillsides and valleys. If you're prefer to stay on the water, you can look forward to plenty of water space for boating, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. 

The Mt. Wam Lookout Cabin is located at the Kootenai National Forest, and is a popular spot for enjoying the great Montana outdoors. The lookout offers breathtaking views of the Canada Rockies, and from this vantage point, visitors can enjoy excellent sunrises, sunsets and clear skies for stargazing. While you're out hiking, mountain biking and even snow shoeing, keep your eyes open for curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as a few bears and wolves. Birding is also very popular here so be sure to keep your camera handy!

Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing. At winter time, campers can take advantage of water sports like skiing, sledding and snow shoeing, so if you like those activities, you'll absolutely love this park. 

The Glacier Park KOA is located in the cozy town of Whitefish, and is a popular spot among outdoor enthusiasts. Campers can look forward to a beautiful, well-manicured park carved out of the dense Montana forestry, fresh air and fair weather. Visitors can look forward to the towns of Bigfork, Kalispell and Whitefish for supplies, shopping, historic sight seeing, art galleries and fine local dining. The Scoops Ice Cream Shop is definitely a favorite. Flathead Lake is also close by, so campers can take advantage of excellent water sports like trout fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and water skiing. There are a number of trails and paths around the campground, ideal for day hiking, mountain biking and exploring, and of course there's plenty of open space overhead for stargazing.

The Kalispell North KOA is located in the picturesque town of Whitefish, Montana and is a great place to enjoy some of Montana's most fun sites. A sprawlign 33 acres of secluded forests just 24 miles from the Glacier National Park, this campground is ideal for hiking, exploring, mountain biking and wildlife viewing. While you trek the area, keep your eyes open and your camera handy fro bears, elk, deer, birds and small animals. There's also a ton of fun activities at the campground, so visitors can take advantage of the free kids' paddle board, walking trails,Buffalo Bob's Family Entertainment Center, mini golf, adult hot tub and petting zoo. There's also an onsite restaurant and swimming pool, so your next party or group camping gathering can be sooner than you think!

The River Bend RV Park is located in Montana, and is an ideal place for a quaint, Montana getaway. Campers can look forward to great local amenities in the historic town of Libby; there are museums, galleries and excellent, craft restaurants and bars. The Two-Bit Outfit RV Park is located in Libby, and is a great spot to recharge your batteries and relax as you camp around the wonderful state of Montana.
