Campers can look forward to plenty of crisp, fresh air at the over 5,500 foot elevation, and the pristine natural environment perfect for outdoor adventures. This primitive camping spot is perfect for fishing along the Kootenai River, enjoy boating, canoeing and kayaking, and then come on land for challenging hiking and mountain biking paths. There's also plenty of wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for deer, moose and elk, as well as those night time skies for the iconic Montana stargazing locals enjoy. 

The Basin Creek Campground is located in the Lewis Clark National Forest and is a quiet oasis for the outdoor enthusiast looking to retreat from the busyness of daily life. Campers can look forward to gorgeous fir and pine trees, a creek for fishing and kayaking, as well as challenging trails for hiking and mountain biking. There's also picnic benches for your next outdoor group gathering, as well as plenty of acreage of exploring and stargazing at night. 

The Indian Hill Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest, and is popular particularly among hikers.
