Whether you’re road tripping or hanging your hat, we’ll make sure you feel right at home. Family pride is still of utmost importance to all family members, as well as employees, and we pride ourselves in providing a clean and family-oriented campground. The campground has seen many improvements and repeat customers every year. Our customer safety and the safety of our staff will always be our top priority. We're taking all necessary steps to ensure everyone’s safety and meet your RV camping needs, whether that's daily, weekly, or monthly.

Just two sites on our property, both with extraordinary views of The Big Piney River in Dixon, Mo.  Our sites offer walk-in access to the water for swimming, floating, and fishing. Each site has BBQ accommodations, as well as a picnic table and spot for roasting marshmallows.  Only 20 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. and a few less to St. Robert for supplies.  Borrow our tubes or bring your own floating devices for a delightful mini float downstream to cool off after an otherwise scorcher of a day. Motel 6 RV Park is located on the premises of the Motel in St. Robert, Missouri. The Park features both back in and pull-thru RV Sites with full hookups. It is conveniently located near Interstate 44. The park provides a clean and convenient location and is perfect for travelers. The RV Park is open year round, and we are proud members of Good Sam. Whether its for a short and or long term stay, we hope to see you soon!

Under NEW ownership in 2018! We are a military veteran family who loves adventure and believes everyone should spend more time outdoors playing! We have over 30 acres of Ozark Terrain to explore!   We are located on the very spot of the HOME of Bluegrass (Bluegrass Pickin' Time Festival)  that was started by Bill and Mona Jones in 1969. The original stage is still here and is under renovation to become a living historical building that hopes to have music played on it once again!  We are a family friendly, ATV friendly, and pet friendly campground and RV park. We encourage all types of camping styles and hookups. No extra charge for big families. We ask that dogs be kept under control as we have chickens working hard to keep bugs and ticks to a minimum!  We have acres of woods trails to wander and possibly an alligator to "I Spy". No worries about getting lost. All sides of the campground are safely fenced.   Pardon our mess as we renovate our bathrooms over the next few months. We plan to be complete before the 2019 spring season begins. We are open year round and have accommodations for full time living.   We are excited to have a COMMUNITY GARDEN where all campers can get their hands dirty and play in the garden or just wander through the plants and smell the beauty and be enticed by the butterflies and nature. Our Campground Clubhouse is a unique experience of coffee and tea and a lovely place to borrow books, play games, study puzzles and other sorts of activities to appease your mind.   There are a lot of attractions nearby since we are located in the middle of EVERYWHERE! You will never be bored! The Gasconade River is nearby for scenic fishing and kayaking. The list of activities nearby are endless: Bridal Caves, HaHaTonka Castle, antique shopping, nature walking, mushroom hunting, shopping and sightseeing at nearby Osage Beach, Ft Leonard Wood Army Base, Jefferson City, museums and even 6 Flags is within a 2 hour drive!   We have more pictures and updated specials posted on Instagram and Facebook. #oldbluegrasscampground    Due to our location and unavailability of internet, we do not have internet Wi-Fi available. At&T and T-Mobile cell phone services usually have the best connection. We like to be a place people can unplug from technology a bit and enjoy the beauty of the land.   ** We are located on a curve and tucked behind trees on Hwy 133 se we are easily missed. Make sure to watch your GPS carefully!  We are 4 miles north of Dixon on hwy 133 (follow the Meta signs). Watch for county road HH (Santee church is on the corner) and you will find us less than a mile further down the road on the right!
