Welcome Guests! We are a small, family owned campground in Steelville, Missouri. Our goal is to offer a fun, family-friendly camping experience to create great memories! Family-Friendly Environment! Location!  While we are not on the river, there are many river access points around us and we are 3 minutes up the road from downtown Steelville! We are also just up the road from the Meramec Music Theatre! We have hosted many guests that have enjoyed listening to their favorite music groups! We are about 10 minutes from the Meramec Spring Park! Enjoy a hike at the beautiful natural spring, the rainbow trout at the hatchery, or fishing along the river! Convenience! We want to be as convenient for you as possible! So we offer free Wi-Fi, no charge to use the shower house or dump station, firepits, picnic tables, and access to use the pavilion. No Flooding! Even when the weather is not picture perfect you can camp here worry free! Unlike many other nearby campgrounds, we are above water level, so if the river floods, we will not send you away and you will not have to worry about your RV flooding! Rates & Discount! Located in Fulton, Missouri, Red Maples MHC and RV Park offers back in, drive thru, big rig, full 30/50 amp water, sewer and electric site hookups surrounded by abundant shade trees, large sites and lighted paved streets. Visitors may enjoy the many amenities offered that include trash services, WiFi, playground and picnic tables to name a few. We are also getting ready to add a bath/shower/laundry facility to our park as well as some other improvements and amenities! Enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, golfing, scenic drives, caving/spelunking and historic sightseeing. We are only 25 miles from our state capital, Jefferson City, MO and only 27 miles from Columbia, MO. You get a nice quiet atmosphere with the convenience of close-by towns and attractions! So, whether its for a night or a week, there's plenty to do in the area! Office hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The office is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Just two sites on our property, both with extraordinary views of The Big Piney River in Dixon, Mo.  Our sites offer walk-in access to the water for swimming, floating, and fishing. Each site has BBQ accommodations, as well as a picnic table and spot for roasting marshmallows.  Only 20 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. and a few less to St. Robert for supplies.  Borrow our tubes or bring your own floating devices for a delightful mini float downstream to cool off after an otherwise scorcher of a day. Under NEW ownership in 2018! We are a military veteran family who loves adventure and believes everyone should spend more time outdoors playing! We have over 30 acres of Ozark Terrain to explore!   We are located on the very spot of the HOME of Bluegrass (Bluegrass Pickin' Time Festival)  that was started by Bill and Mona Jones in 1969. The original stage is still here and is under renovation to become a living historical building that hopes to have music played on it once again!  We are a family friendly, ATV friendly, and pet friendly campground and RV park. We encourage all types of camping styles and hookups. No extra charge for big families. We ask that dogs be kept under control as we have chickens working hard to keep bugs and ticks to a minimum!  We have acres of woods trails to wander and possibly an alligator to "I Spy". No worries about getting lost. All sides of the campground are safely fenced.   Pardon our mess as we renovate our bathrooms over the next few months. We plan to be complete before the 2019 spring season begins. We are open year round and have accommodations for full time living.   We are excited to have a COMMUNITY GARDEN where all campers can get their hands dirty and play in the garden or just wander through the plants and smell the beauty and be enticed by the butterflies and nature. Our Campground Clubhouse is a unique experience of coffee and tea and a lovely place to borrow books, play games, study puzzles and other sorts of activities to appease your mind.   There are a lot of attractions nearby since we are located in the middle of EVERYWHERE! You will never be bored! The Gasconade River is nearby for scenic fishing and kayaking. At&T and T-Mobile cell phone services usually have the best connection. We like to be a place people can unplug from technology a bit and enjoy the beauty of the land.   ** We are located on a curve and tucked behind trees on Hwy 133 se we are easily missed. Make sure to watch your GPS carefully!  We are 4 miles north of Dixon on hwy 133 (follow the Meta signs). Watch for county road HH (Santee church is on the corner) and you will find us less than a mile further down the road on the right!
