Wakeda first “opened its woods” to campers in 1965 and is owned and operated by three generations of the Savage family. We feature pull thru, full 30/50 amp sites, rustic cabins and tent sites for those seeking something a little more different. Visitors have access to shower, restroom and laundry facilities along with fire pits and a general store. This beautiful campground offers the perfect location with a mile of river frontage on the beautiful Exeter River that you can do all kinds of fun things like canoeing, fishing, and kayaking. There are many well-spaced wooded campsites to choose from that has all the amenities you could need. There are some very clean and modern facilities which are always a plus! There are a lot of wonderful activities that is fun for the whole family and the location as mention is perfect. There are many great places to visit that are only a short drive away! Yankeeland RV Resort opens every year on May 1st and is open until Columbus Day weekend. We offer nightly, weekly, monthly or full Seasonal camping.
