Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is an awesomely vast expanse of wilderness southern swamp covering approximately 700 square miles and located mostly in the southeast corner of Georgia, U.S.A. The Okefenokee is crisscrossed by over 120 miles of paddle and motorboat water trails. It is a major destination for wetlands nature lovers paddlers and boaters. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge offers a good number of wonderfully easy to sometimes extremely challenging day use paddle only water trails. Also, enjoy numerous excitingly fun to navigate dual-use paddle or motorboat water trails all set up for the public to access without an overnight permit or fee requirement. A very controlled and limited number of overnight wilderness paddle trail fee permits for overnight camping paddlers are issued through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the administrative and managing government agency at Okefenokee NWR).

We offer 5 – cabins, 3 with bathrooms and kitchenettes, all have electricity, AC, screened porches, furnished, picnic table, built-in fire pits, trees, and views. 15 – Pull through RV spots all with Electric, Water, Sewer, Picnic table, Built in Fire pit, all are level and treed with plenty of room. 4 – Private tent sites that are set up to give you the feeling you are in the wilderness by using natural vegetation to screen the tent area from the rest of the park while providing easy access to the central dish-washing station a short walk to the bath/shower house and parking at each site.

We strive to be the best value for your money in the south Georgia / north Florida area, providing great customer service and a clean, quiet place to stay. River Park has 57 paved, pull-though, full hookup sites (with free wifi and cable) for overnight & short-term stays, and we can accommodate the largest rigs, with ample room for slide outs. We also have 65 spacious extended stay lots, also with full hookup--please call or email to inquire about our monthly rates. We have a clean laundry room and updated bath house with new, larger hot showers. These facilities have a handicap ramp for ease of access. We are pet friendly, with a fenced ‘pooch park’ for your dogs to play in off-leash. While we have easy access to I-75, we separated from the Interstate noise by a thick hedge and 3-story motel.
