The Swisher Lake Campground is located northwest of the town of Eureka, and is a favorite among campers looking for a quiet getaway into the pristine natural landscape of Montana. The area is known for its wildlife, so keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. The Mt. Wam Lookout Cabin is located at the Kootenai National Forest, and is a popular spot for enjoying the great Montana outdoors. Mariner's Haven is a campground located on the extreme northwest end of Montana near the Koocanusa Reservoir. The campground is also near the Rocky Mountains, so campers can look forward to acres and acres of pristine forestry, with fir and pine trees densely packed around the reservoir and up the mountain sides. Visitors can expect a thriving ecosystems with curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose, as well as beautiful skies for stargazing.
