Don't miss this place if you are in the area! Some folks stay over because of the quiet country atmosphere. Go for a walk and take pictures and throw a few lures in both of the lakes. The little church at the top of the campground is quaint and beautiful and the small lakes are absolutely breathtaking.   Amenities & Activities The campground features amenities such as: restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, RV supplies, RV storage and self-service RV wash. Hanceville is home to one of the nation’s most iconic shrines, Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. The construction began in 1996 and was completed in 1999, under the direction of Mother Angelica of the Eternal Word Television Network. A little further up the road you can enjoy the Huntsville space center that’s sure to be a great stop for all ages! Located in Chilton County, the geographical center of Alabama, Minooka Park provides a convenient getaway for families. Minooka Park is primarily an ATV/Off-road motorcycle park with miles of trails winding through 420 acres of wooded terrain. Minooka Park also features pavilions, a seven acre fishing pond with a scenic one mile walking trail around the pond, and a RV Campground. The RV Campground has 36 full hookup sites with water, power (30 & 50-amp) and sewage, 4 hook up sites with water & power only, and 2 cabins. Bathhouse and playground facilities are centrally located within the RV Campground. Logan's Pass is conveniently located just 2.0 miles off Interstate 20/59 at exit 73 on Highway 82 east in Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.  All lots are large and shaded with full hookups.  All sites have 30 and 50 amps available.  It is located near Walmart, Sam's Academy Sports, movie theater, restaurants, family entertainment centers. We are conveniently located to the University of Alabama.  

Higgins Ferry Park is the place to be if you love to fish and immerse yourself in an untouched natural terrain. Higgins Ferry is a beautiful county park right in the heart of Alabama, and located just ten miles east of Clanton, which is part of the Coosa River and a premier fishing location for Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. Anglers hold an annual championship right on the docks, so visitors can look forward to that!   Higgins Ferry offers a public boat launch, a pavilion, swimming area, as well as RV and tent camping. The campground also offers 28 full hook-up sites. There’s also a full bathhouse with showers included, and for the kids, there’s a playground area, and a day use area where people can cook out and enjoy the beauty of Lake Mitchell. Take some "time away" and be the first to preview this brand new resort in Lincoln, Alabama. Time Away RV Resort will offer 200 sites, with 13-acres and a grand opening in early June 2021. The resort features large spacious sites with 30 and 50 amp full hookup service and concrete pads. On-site amenities include a private bbq area with a firepit and bathhouses.
