What a gem! Clear Creek Recreation is one of those ‘Best kept secret campgrounds.’  Beautiful, all paved or gravel sites and every site is spacious with plenty of trees for shade. Each is embedded in trees so when you sit outside, you see acres of breathtaking nature scenes, and maybe even a wandering deer pass by. For your camper, RV or big rig, they have pull-thru access with electrical and water hook-ups. Nearby are restrooms and showers, and if you have a tent to pitch, there’s lots of room for you to spread out. They also provide fire ring and picnic table, and for fun activities, the sight offers a basketball and volleyball court, playground and horseshoe pit. And for fishing on the creek, they have a private boat ramp and the bass are almost hopping in the boat. For the walkers and hikers, there are plenty of trails to chart, and the lake to splash in, to cool off on those hot summer days. Not far is the Bankhead National Forest is the Sipsey Wilderness, known as "The Land of a Thousand Waterfalls," and home to an abundance of streams, old-growth forests, limestone bluffs and lush canyons.   Did I say this was a gem? Our RV campground is located near beautiful Lewis Smith Lake in Cullman, AL.  Ryan's Creek is located on the property to enjoy seasonal kayaking, fishing, and exclusive activities during your stay. We are surrounded by beautiful country scenery and private outdoor activities for the whole family.  Only minutes away from I65, are local restaurants, activities, gas stations, and stores. 

All the great shops of Red Bay are right at your fingertips when you camp at the Red Bay Downtown RV Park.   You can look forward to amenities such as: electricity, water & sewerage access and the park is pet-friendly.   You can also expect a number of excellent attractions such as the Red Bay Downtown are, Bunk House and Tiffin Motorhome Plant. Plus, there’s a number of great craft eateries and pubs for you to sample local flavors. The Colbert County Alloys Park Campground is located on Wilson Lake, and offers RV, motor home and camper parking, as well as tent sites for primitive camping. The campground also provides electricity, water, sewerage, dump station, and boat ramp for year round enjoyment. Newly added is a large, lit pavilion with picnic areas and tables, showers and restrooms. They allow mostly back-in parking with one pull-thru, have big rig access, 30/50 amp connections and WIFI. For fun, there’s a kid friendly playground nearby, boating on Red Bay, nature trails and the park is within walking distance of a Robert Trent Jones golf course. Nearby, you can visit Helen Keller’s birthplace or check out the Muscle Sholes Sound Studios, and for dinner, you can’t beat Smoking on the Blvd where they serve outstanding BBQ chicken and ribs. Sounds like a great place to stroll through and enjoy nature at its best.

Don't miss this place if you are in the area! Some folks stay over because of the quiet country atmosphere. Go for a walk and take pictures and throw a few lures in both of the lakes.
