Last time I stay at Grizzly. We have stayed there many time and have always loved it. This time they start out with a nasty email reminding you that you have a reservation and then the rules start. Can't come in after 10 pm. Find somewhere else to stay. They while you are there you get an email telling you to leave the next day because your stay is over. Lots of rules posted all over about no vehicle idling and use the staging area. Lots of little kids on bikes all over the roads. No parents to be seen. Kids won't let anyone through and when you are walking, they circle you and make you feel harassed. With all of the rules and nasty emails and unsupervised children, we have decided to stay elsewhere from now on.

Avoid rv sites 1, 2, 3 and 4!!! I can honestly say that this is my first bad experience at Grizzly RV Park. On all previous visits, we were able to reserve a premium back-in site. No problems. This time we are in a regular back-in site. I can't speak for any of the other regular back-in sites, but sites #1, 2, 3, and 4 are next to the Grizzy dump stations! Our site is advertised as 45 feet, but it is really 40 feet. One can attempt to back up a little farther and extend unto the grass. Be sure to bring an extended sewer hose. Be sure to call and determine your regular back-in site number!!! They offered to move us the next evening to a different site. However, that would have entailed disconnecting from utilities, repacking, and towing the rv early next morning to their parking lot and waiting there the entire day with family and dog with no water or electricity until our tow vehicle was available again that evening. What a way to start a vacation.  Knowing this, they have not offered to keep us abreast of any sites that come available later in the day. It is pretty much a "take it or leave it" attitude.

All I can say is WOW! This park has it all beautiful sites with hard packed gravel Tarmac patio with picnic table. Full hookup sites for tents to Big Rigs. Playground for the kiddos. The bath and showers are very clean and nice. This is a Good SAMs park also. Only minutes away from the west gate of Yellowstone. Would definitely stay here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
