Stayed at this campground for a softball tournament. When we arrived we were shocked upon arrival of the looks of the place. The only thing I can say that is good about it is that it is very quiet and peaceful. However, the upkeep is very poor. The area floods very badly during a storm and the owner, Pat, neglected to inform us of the flooding issues and when we returned from a day at the beach our entire campsite was underwater. There are septic problems involving the bathroom. The bathrooms are not cleaned either, at least during our stay they weren’t. I would recommend this campground for someone who is looking for a cheap place to stay. However if you are looking for a fun, family oriented luxurious stay, this is not the place for you.

Just off Rt. 13 South after the Delaware-Maryland state line. An older campground that needs some TLC. Owner and maintenance person were very nice and personable when we stayed 9-9 to 9-11. Seasonal campground that is clean and quiet. Sites are small to medium in size, allow RV and tent camping, site are fairly level gravel sites, some are back in sites, some are pull through sites (ours was pull through). Roads are gravel based. Some sites have 30 amp and water hookups; some sites had picnic tables and fire rings (ours had electric, water, and picnic table). There is a bath house that is older but clean. Has a small pavilion and a dump station. Pets are allowed on a leash. No cable, no wifi, no pool, no activities. Maintenance person will sell you firewood. Take cash or check, not credit cards. Reservations can be requested on line, but not confirmed on line. We had to call and follow up to confirm. Very reasonably priced. Would say it is ok for 1 to 2 nights if you are visiting the area and not in the campground very much. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
