We stayed at Wildwood at the beginning of July. The new owner has done a great job and has great plans for this park. We now have a favorite spot. It was so nice when we got there they helped us to our spot and guided us in place. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a 30’ trailer and had plenty of room. It’s so nice to be so close to Fort Bragg but still be camping in the woods. We drove by some of the other parks that are closer to the Ocean but there are no trees and everyone is jammed up against each other. We will definitely be back.

Our travel trailer lost a wheel just north of Fort Bragg, so we limped back to town with the spare wheel and missing nuts. While checking if the local RV service shop was open (it was not), this gentleman (Travis) shows up needing to buy some RV supplies. We started chatting, we told him about our problems, and he suggested we follow him to his campground, just a few miles away. He gave us a really nice spot and helped us to fix our trailer over the next two days. He was incredibly nice and helpful, and we would really have been lost without him. The place is currently undergoing a major makeover and should be fantastic very soon. We were actually the first ones to use the site we were assigned. There were still some small details that needed sorting out, but the place is really nice already, and the surrounding Redwood forest is just amazing.

VERY low class, ran by addicts and thugs! They employee a skeletal maintenance man with dark sunken eyes, that drives around with extremely loud and filthy rap music, from before 7am till past 11pm at night. ZERO RESPECT FOR THE CAMPERS!!! Approaching him about it will get you cussed and threatened. Complaining to management does no good, as they NEED someone on staff that is willing to lie to officials and officers. This is a rough and drug infested park. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Giving 1 star is too much. This place is a dump. We had to pick up trash before setting up camp. The bathrooms were locked all night and most of the day, no port-a-potties available. Human waste on the ground behind our site. No water provided for most of the day.

Compared with European campgrounds the location is really nice, and I would recommend it. However, if you compare with many other campgrounds near the Western coast of the U.S. this campground has some room for improvement. The camp host was very friendly and helpful, the sites were big, reasonable, and the hook up was working properly. But there were 3 things which I kept in my mind, because I did not like them. First of all everything was very dirty. No wonder, the paths within the camp are unpaved, and therefore everything is covered with dirt. Many of the campers seem to be permanent campers, and it seems that they are living there like in a trailer park. It is noicy all day long, and even during night time cars and bikes are coming and going. The restrooms need more attention as well, and could definitely be cleaner.

We were placed in the monthly area that had a spacious site, but was littered with trash and broken glass. Most of the trailers were run down with junk vehicles in the drive, and free running dogs

This campground is gorgeous! It's extremely woodsy which is what we were looking for, and well-maintained. We spent most of our stay hiking the trails and even did some mountain biking toward the end, and we liked that the staff and other campers were pretty courteous and pleasant. Fort Bragg was not too far away for supplies and sightseeing which was really convenient. We'll head that way again next summer!
