The Whitewater Draw in McNeal, Arizona is known for being the nesting ground for sandhill cranes, and many campers flock there each year to see 20,000 gorgeous cranes call the area home for a season. Wildlife viewing is certainly the most popular activity at this campground, so when you go, be sure to bring your camera to capture the various species of waterfowls, javelina, coyotes, bobcats, mule deer and desert cottontail. The Leslie Canyon National Wildlife Refuge is also close by, so visit if you have time!
