Our goal is to make your visit to the Washington Land Yacht Harbor (WLYH) a safe and pleasant one. The following rules are enforced to ensure fairness to all visitors. In the event of an emergency please call 911 immediately. If not an immediate threat to health or safety, contact the Gatehouse during business hours at 360-345-1226.
● The WLYH is an Airstream-exclusive RV park. No other brands of RVs may park at the WLYH. ● WLYH does not have an age restriction on Airstreams, but your Airstream will need to pass a physical inspection that includes but is not limited to no missing panels, broken windows or bald tires, and must be currently tagged, registered and insured. RVs must be in an operating condition and clean. ● You are allowed to park one recreational vehicle (motor home, travel trailer) and one additional vehicle on your assigned site. Additional or oversized vehicles must park in the designated overflow parking. Tents or utility trailers are not permitted. ● If you are in a back-in site, please be careful. If you damage a pedestal or water spigot, you will be charged for repairs. ● Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please be considerate of your neighbors, Excessive noise at any time is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive volume of music or other media devices, dogs that bark incessantly or other noise disturbances. The use of generators is not allowed. ● WLYH includes both 50 amp and 30 amp sites. For the 30 amp sites, the 20 amp receptacle is not active. Do not connect to more than one pedestal. It is recommended that you use a surge protector. You use WLYH power at your own risk. ● WLYH recommends that you use a water pressure regulator and water filter. WLYH recommends that you fill your fresh water tank when the temperature will be below 32 degrees. Disconnect from the water and use your own holding tank and water pump until the temperature rises above 35 degrees. If the water spigot freezes and breaks because of you not disconnecting, you will be charged for repairs. ● A positive sewer seal is required at both ends of your sewer hose and must be supported so it drains into the sewer connection. Do not flush feminine products, sanitary or baby wipes, bleach, grease or food. The cost of repairing clogs or damages caused by conduct deemed inappropriate by WLYH staff shall be your responsibility and will be treated at an additional charge. ● The park has limited Wi-fi suitable for checking email or web browsing. Wi-fi may not be available at your site. ● Trash is to be disposed of in the dumpsters provided. Large items such as (beds, futons, chairs and couches) are not to be placed in or near the dumpsters. Cardboard and aluminum recycling containers are located on the north side of Harmony Hall. ● You can receive US Mail and packages at WLYH at your own risk. The mailing address is: WLYH Attn. Gatehouse: 9101 Steilacoom RD SE, Olympia WA 98513. The mail is delivered directly to the Gatehouse. You are responsible for checking for mail and package delivery. Please do not include your RV space number as this mail may go to a residential lot in the WLYH. ● Vehicle maintenance involving fluid changes or major repairs is strictly prohibited in RV sites. ● If you would like to wash your RV or tow vehicles, they must be washed in the wash station at the south end of the RV parking area. ● Fire safety is of utmost importance to all residents and staff. Only propane gas grills or propane gas fire pits are permitted and must be a minimum of 10 feet from all RVs and any vehicles when being used. Charcoal grills are not allowed. ● Items may be stored under your RV, but must be neatly organized. Absolutely no flammable liquids shall be stored under, inside or around your RV. ● Your site may have a table, 4 chairs and a propane BBQ or a propane fire pit on your site. Personal items outside your RV are at owner’s risk for theft or other loss. ● The speed limit is 15 miles per hour on all WLYH roads within the RV park. You must be over 16 to operate a powered vehicle on the WLYH roads. ● Smoking is prohibited inside or within 25 feet of any WLYH building. Please extinguish all smoking products completely before putting them into trash receptacles. ● You are welcome to use the card room, pool room and library in Harmony Hall when the hall is not rented. You will be provided a code upon arrival. Those renting Harmony Hall have exclusive use of the hall including the bathrooms. ● You are responsible for the conduct of your guests. Guests shall not use park facilities unless you are also present. Parents are responsible for the supervision, conduct and behavior of their children. ● Keep our restrooms clean; if a restroom is in need of attention please notify Gatehouse staff. The WLYH bathrooms are not to be used for bathing or washing other than your hands. There are no public showers. ● Off road, all terrain or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted in the park, with the exception of golf carts and bicycles. Gravel walk paths are for walking, jogging and for those wheel chair bound only. ● Discharging or displaying firearms or compressed air guns is prohibited. Fireworks are not allowed. ● No business or commercial activity of any kind may be conducted at RV sites.
1. Pets must be on a leash or runner and under control of the owner when not inside the RV. 2. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets immediately. Pet waste bags and trash receptacles are located throughout the WLYH. 3. Pets other than service animals are not allowed in any WLYH buildings or on the grass gathering areas on north and south sides of Harmony Hall. These and other areas are clearly marked with no-pet signs. 4. Please observe signage that addresses where pets are prohibited. An exercise area where pets may be unleashed has been provided along the west fence of the Harbor in Tveten Grove west of Harmony Hall. A fenced off-leash area Dog Run is available on the North side of the open field. This was designed primarily for use by owners of small pets but available to everyone. You must maintain control of your pet even in designated areas. Allowing cats to roam free, day or night, is prohibited. 5. Pets may not disturb others with excessive barking or growling. 6. Pets are not to be tied up and left unattended outside of your RV 7. Any proven incident of a pet that attacks another pet or person may be cause for immediate eviction based on the situation. 8. No more than 3 pets are permitted per site. 9. All pets must have proof of current vaccinations (Rabies).
