Upper Peppermint Campground

update on the peppermint campground. due to the harsh winter sinkholes have been created and the campground is closed , even the forest service vehicles can't get in there. july 3rd. 2017

stayed there many times. not for the inexperienced! there are no toilets no fire rings no pick nick tables no water , no designated campsites , it's wide open. road in and out very rough and dusty. there is no pavement all dust and dirt. it is a beautiful spot however and the peppermint creek boarders the campground , just be prepared to rough it , no sissies or whiners allowed. ha ha.
