We are completely surrounded by the Umpqua National Forest. We are in the middle of some of the best fly-fishing in the world. The North Umpqua is legendary for the thrill of steelhead and salmon fishing. We have white-water rafting that goes on just about everyday, and we can connect you with several different outfitter guides to take you down the river. We have 10 glorious waterfalls along highway 138. The 2 stars are Toketee Falls, which is a 2-tiered water fall over ancitent basalt columns. Watson falls is the other star. Watsom is a plunge waterfall that is the 3rd tallest in the state of Oregon at 293 feet! There are natural hot spring just up from Toketee falls. The north Umpqua Trail is directly across the river, with access just 1/4 mile from Umpqua's Last Resort. There is a beautiful meadow just up the road from us, with so much native american history. It is also a fantastic place to look at the stars. During the summer, you can multiple colors of the Milky Way Galaxy in the night sky. The list goes on and on of the beautiful things there are to see and do in our area.
