Tucker lake campground was absolutely exceptional when I lived here! I was in a camper and stayed here for about 6 months or so. The ladies at the front office were wonderful and always super friendly. I'm shocked that as much as they have added since we left, they haven't gone up on prices more! 100% recommend staying here, short term or long term!

It’s good for a short term spot, but the fact that RVers with pets had no access to the lake at all was very disappointing. Full hookup was great and laundry facilities were great. Staff was friendly.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Tucker Lake and it definitely won’t be the last. We timed it right and were able to have the same site as our previous visit. The campground is clean and well-managed. They have built a stunning new building that houses laundry facilities and bathrooms for campers only. The actual lake is beautifully maintained and if you have children, it is the perfect place to spend a day at the water. The staff are always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The concession stand at the lake is reasonably priced and they have lots of yummy snacks and grill-type food. Overall, Tucker Lake is a 10 out of 10.

Management extemely friendly and accomodation. Sites are large compated to most campgrounds. Gated security. Only there 2 nights. Lake is close to campground. Roads and sites have been newly rocked and are pretty level.

Nice , friendly staff. Nice level sites & steps away from lake fun park! A little drainage probably with the flash flood rains, but clears up quickly. No internet ☹️ no showers or campground restrooms ☹️. Laundry room is a distance’s! They look like they are continuing to upgrade area!🎉

We have been camping at Tucker Lake for the last four years, multiple times a year. The grounds are kept incredibly clean, the hook ups and all the things my husband has to do (because i dont know what i am talking about) to make the camper work, are apparently amazing and easy! Haha! My kids LOVE the Lake and as parents, we love seeing the lifeguards ACTUALLY paying attention to the kids and the number of lifeguards at each piece of fun "equipment" allows me to relax. I am disabled and after 9 spinal surgeries, i walk with a cane and i am terrified at most places that something will happen to one of my kids and no one will see! I absolutely do NOT have that fear here! Last but not least, the customer service. The owners and staff are so incredibly welcoming, and they remember my family (mostly because of my BIG squishy Dogue) and even remember silly stories that have happened to us there so they can joke and tease us each year! I LOVE TUCKER LAKE! My absolute favorite place to camp!

Campground Response

Thank you! We enjoy having you all!

Very friendly owners, plenty of room in the campsites, great visit! Would have been 5 stars if they'd had a bath house, but it looked like they may have been building one. Will definitely be going back next year to find out!

Very much enjoyed our stay at Tucker Lake. It was quiet and very peaceful. We were there to attend a family event, so we only needed a place to sleep. Sites are level with gravel, and easy to get into. The staff was very nice and helped us get parked.

Campground Response

Thank you for your review and for staying with us.

Very nice staff. We stayed four nights off season in order to visit with family. It was a quiet area. I’m not sure how it would be when they open up the lake activities. It’s a parking lot type set up. If you’re looking for nature, trees, and open spaces, this isn’t that type of traditional camping, but it’s well kept and quiet and the staff went above and beyond to help us out. C

This campground is gravel parking with a lake that has fence around it.not allowed to go near the lake and you hear de 95

Campground Response

The sites are gravel as we have a rainy climate in this area. This is to ensure the customer has a sound base for their camper. The lake is fenced for safety purposes. The lake is open for swimming activities from May to September. However, there are walking trails around the lake. I'm sorry you missed out on that. Others have told us that the park is very quiet, clean, and nice and many return. Anyone that only stays one night doesn't know what we are truly about and what is available.

No issues as only used for location to attend wedding. That said….website pictures look like you have a little grassy area, not true it was stone parking lot. Also, dog area had playground right in the middle which is not good for kids or the dogs to do their business. In my opinion they may want to use the huge grassy area in the entrance for the playground 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Campground Response

The lots are very large lots accommodating a camper and 2 vehicles. The sites do have gravel to help with camper leveling and to help with our rainy seasons. The sites have grass behind the campers. In reference to the dog area comment, the sign clearly states that pets are not allowed in the playground area.

Nice quiet campground. No extras but in an area with access to many places of interest.

The facility was secure - needed a passcode to enter. Otherwise, it’s a no amenity, no frills campground. Even on the larger sites, it’s back to back campers, no green space and just a parking space for camper and tow vehicle.

Very nice campground for a stopover. The lady who checked us in was super nice and helpful.

This campground was okay for a pass through. No fire ring, the entire lot is a single road with paver stones. It is pretty much a giant parking lot. The water connection is below ground, I did not like the water setup. The owners were very nice, just not my kind of campground.

Campground Response

Hi Alison, Thank you for your review. The water connection was mandated to be designed as it is due to weather conditions and other requirements. The sites are designed with mostly rock to keep mud out as we normally have quite a bit of rain here and it helps keeps the sites level.

This was our second stay at Tucker Lake and it was just as good as the first time. We were escorted to our site which was plenty big for our 45' MH and truck. It's a no frills park, but we're self contained and generally don't use amenities. It's a nice location next to the lake. They have built more sites in the back of the park which they were working on last year and have now finished. They do regular maintenance and upkeep to the property and show pride in ownership. We would definitely stay here again.
