Kenisee Lake RV Campground

This is a Thousand Trails park but you don't have to b a member to stay here. I have mixed feelings about this place (we stayed for a week) but will try to be objective. The good stuff: we had a huge pull-through site with FHU, picnic table and fire ring. There were also back-in sites that looked like they were equally generous with space. Did not look at the shower/bathroom as they were far away. Used the laundry; it was clean, well-...lit and machines worked well. This is a great place for families with kids: playgrounds, activities, 3 ponds/lake for fishing (no license needed). Heated pool. TV reception was good for over-air channels. Big place, lots of seasonal leases where the trailers stay on the site and folks come for the week or week-end. The negatives: the sites had narrow gravel runners for the trailers, some difficult to see. Some sites had a gravel patio area, some did not. The pads need an upgrade of more gravel. Biggest - for us was no wifi, unless you took your computer to the lounge area, where it was mediocre. One of our neighbors said that the pull-thru area was relatively recent (1-2 years) and was still in progress, Would we return?
