We were just passing through and stayed for two nights. It is very convenient to Little Home on the Road who did some modifications for our new Casita travel trailer. Everyone I met there was very nice and personable. There are no amenities other than a washer/dryer house (which we did not use). It appears that many people are "permanent" there.

The place is ugly and RVs stacked almost side by side. Looks scary and we didn't even stay. Don't book through Roverpass - you can't get a refund. Don't trust the pictures online, it is worse than that.

We booked two weeks in advance arrived at location and there was no vacancy we had to find other location last minute. It was quite stressful we were notified 6 hours prior to arrival that our reservation was canceled due to overbooking. I had one missed call from them they only made one attempt to give us notification about the cancellation.

The park was nice camp sites small & hard to level your RV the person that checked us in was elderly & very rude not sure will stay there again for the price you would expect a better site except RV's stacked in like cord of wood

We had stayed here last November and made reservations for this November 2022. We've had major issues with our 5th wheel and are not going to keep it. When we called to cancel our reservation (4 months in advance) the manager got angry and argued with me about his cancellation policy. He told me to never come back. I fail to see what caused the anger in the managers tone of voice. Be careful when making reservations here. They will not refund you any money. As far as the park is concerned. it's one of the least desirable places I've stayed. Correction: After a heated conversation, manager agreed to honor the cancellation policy as stated on the website. He still told me to never come back. That's a given.

We were fortunate to be provided a cement pad for our RV and greatly appreciated that. The park only allows two dogs, but permitted our group because the rules are not clearly defined on the website. They do request people clean after their furry friends and we certainly did but many do not. This is likely the reason that the dog park is no longer available. Those residing at the park are certainly friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed time with our neighbours. There is not a lot of green space to walk our dogs but other than that we found the park to be pleasant.

Very friendly people. Even though we rolled in between 2 and 3 Christmas morning I had help parking our camper. You can't beat that! Will definitely visit again next time we go down to see our son's family.

The park itself was overall quiet and clean. The management was involved riding around throughout the day and friendly. While the website says there is 30 amp service available that was incorrect and I had ro purchase an adapter from the park when I arrived. AlsoI did not realize i was going to have to wait 2 days to find out if my reservation was approved. While it did get approved if it hadn't this would have caused problems with my travel. I do not see where before you make a reservation that process is called out.

Entirely acceptable but not much to brag about.

We booked a week, left after staying for 1 night. It wasn't what we expected. But the electrical was good and had sewer and water. Lots of dog feces on our lot. We left without trying to get a refund.

A decent place to stay for the short term. We spent 3 nights there while visiting family in the area. Gravel access and lots, that were mostly level. Full hookups were not a problem. Roger and Barbara were the hosts and very pleasant to deal with. If in the area again we would use them again.

Stayed there for 3 weeks. Absolutely no claims. Loved the free washer and dryers. I would definitely return.

HORRIBLY RUDE PEOPLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. AFTER STAYING HERE FOR 4 MONTHS WE WERE LATE ONE DAY AND THEY SHUT OFF THE ELECTRIC ON MY FOUR YEAR OLD AND MY HUSBAND WHILE I WAS AT WORK. NOTHING BUT BULLIES.... OH WHICH BY THE WAY IS DEFINITELY ILLEGAL BUT APPARENTLY THEY CAN'T READ BECAUSE I PRINTED OUT THE PENAL CODE FOR THEM AND THEY REFUSE TO TURN IT BACK ON SO I'LL SEE THEM IN COURT. POLICE EVEN CAME AND TOLD THEM TO TURN IT IN. THEY DID FOR LIKE TWELVE HOURS AND THE NEXT MORNING THEY TURNED IT BACK OFF. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- DONT RECOMMEND

We’ve decided to make the Ranch our temp RV home while having our new home built. The management team have been very helpful when needed. Diverse group’s of people and very friendly. I feel it’s a very safe little community to stay during these troubled times at a reasonable price

Absolutely the worst place we've ever stayed at. A lot of false advertising going on here, not a single amenity that was listed except the laundry. We got the last sight available, which was right over the openings where they empty sewer Etc. This place is a real dump, and she would not refund my money. I would not even give one star, but it look wouldn't let me skip it.

This park looks nothing like the picture. That is false advertisment. Water is cloudly white and makes you sick. Managers Barbara and Roger are racist and fraud the government and one of the owners know about it and helps them do it by putting pay checks in another's name. They don't do Background checks so that $50 app fee is a scam and the will allow anything in this park it could be a 1962 rv and it's ok. I've posted a video of Barabara sloppy drunk at my rv harassing my daughter and my dog. Everyone pays a different amount and on different days. Mirco managed to the point of Barabara going threw your wash while it's going. She will come and stand in the wash room to see what your putting in the wash. Pay the extra money find a better place to live.

Campground Response

Tiffany, Please retract this review that is false and slanderous. There are plenty of pictures online and if we wanted to Photoshop it then we would have added movie stars and celebrities into the photos. For anyone interested in staying at THE RANCH AT RHOME RV PARK. Feel free to stop by our park, check out the great laundry room which is free to use as Tiffany mentioned, turn the water on, and look at the RV's in the park. The area is great, the people are great, and the RV's are great! Keep RV'ing!

This facility is off the beaten path (interpret this to mean quiet & peaceful at night). This park is located behind what appears to be a relatively new industrial park that has a good appearance. It is 10-15 miles from a restaurant, but I understand a McDonald’s and a Sonic may be closer. Also this park seems to be set up more for long term residents I did not notice rest room or shower facility for short term visitors (I only spent 1 night in the area). The management is friendly and tries to be helpful. The residents were friendly, the RVs, tiny homes, and automobiles are newer and seem well maintained. I believe this is a good place to stay for one or two nights and probably is a very good place if you are seeking a long term home for your RV. It is a little pricy for what you get, but fair and competitive in the local market.

Campground Response

Thank Richard for the great review! As you noted we have newer RVs and also tiny homes in the park. Most of our tenants are long term as the area is growing and we provide a very affordable, convenient, and enjoyable place to call home. We do have a pull through available that we try to keep open for short term rentals. Keep RV'ing!

Hidden away off the main road, The Ranch is fairly quiet. Access off US 287 can be tricky as the sharp turn over the railroad crossing is at an awkward angle. Easier to go to Tx114 and turn south on CoRd 4841 which is just feet away from the tracks. If you have 30 amp service, be sure and take a 50/30 adapter.. The site I had only had one plug, and it was 50 amp. Water is supplied by Rhome public works, and sewage collected in an anaerobic system that irrigates the north end of the property. WiFi is iffy, although there is an open unsecured channel that offered uninterrupted service. Speed limiot is 5 mph throughout the park, enforced by high/wide speed bumps. Lots of long term rentals appear to be located here, more expansion planned according to park managers. Passing through, made a nice place to stay.

Campground Response

Thank you Eric for the 5 star review! We really love the description you have provided. As you have noted, we have a quiet park in a great and growing area. We are excited that we have completed the expansion and continue to have lots of long term rentals. In addition, we have a bathroom and shower facility, free laundry, and we have boosted the wifi. Keep RV'ing!
