 There are 2 gas stations close by within a mile.

 Plenty of hiking area, biking or just walking your dog.

Unique place. Totally "self-service" which works good for us. Awesome Halloween decorations! The only negative was that someone was speeding through the area on an ATV. Why? Looked as though they were part of the family that lived, owned or managed the park. Made no sense. But we would definitely stay there again.

A somewhat unusual RV Park in a rural setting but worked well for our overnight stay. Good level site. Full hook-up. Quiet. Limited bathroom. Friendly owner.

What a wonderful campground! The RV spaces were flat, level, and spacious. The bathrooms felt like my bathroom at home, and the laundry was clean and inexpensive. We were greeted in a friendly manner, and the while park was beautifully decorated for Halloween. We would highly recommend The Hitching Post!

Great one or two night stop. Convenient check in, Great people! Level pull thru spots and some back in. Quiet, some light noise from hiway but can’t hear inside Rv.

What a great find! Right off interstate, but remarkably quiet. Flat spots, clean, and fabulous 20 acre field for dogs…but please pick up their deposits! Top it off with the Hitching Post Grub venue on site! Pleasant family owned/operated. Great overnight stay!

I really liked this park for an overnight stay. Self check-in as nobody was in the office but I was ok with that. Restaurant on site but was closed as the crew was on vacation. Would stay at this park anytime I'm by this area. Also I thought the rates were reasonable for a full hookup 50 amp site,].

The Hitching Post is a nice, quiet campground. Level, gravel spots. Pull- through and back-in available. If you stay, be sure to grab a bite from The Grub!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and really liked the site. This time it seemed upgraded (maybe new owners) and had a new food shack that served good food at very reasonable prices. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a sunset storm with incredible colors and cloud formations. Sounded like 4th of July, but only a light sprinkle of rain.

I liked it. Not the best ever, but friendly, and quiet, even as close as it was to I84. Real big sky Idatah feel. I really liked the huge, wide open spaces scenery. We were there June 21, 2024 in an Eagle Cap 1165.

A very, very basic full-hookup, self-access park (a place to park your RV with full hookup, absolutely nothing else).. Excellent for what it is…a quick overnight stop while travelling between destinations.
