We like to put families with children in the Oak Campground and those without children in the Sycamore Campground.  This keeps the kids closer to the activities.  The sites with triangles are electric only sites and can be booked for RVs also some have 50amp, 30amp and 20amp

Do not follow your GPS device when coming into our resort. You need to turn east one mile south of the Kansas Nebraska border on 75 hwy or 6 miles north of Sabetha Ks. Watch for our sign on the west side of Hwy 75. This route is all paved roads.

Great place to visit! Lots to do or just relax. The owner was very welcoming and gave us a short tour of the area and the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful rural scenery, peaceful, plenty of things to keep kids entertained. We don’t use the roller rink, playground, splash pad, ect because we are seniors but it’s fun to watch the kids enjoy them. We’ve been there 4 times in the past 4 months! The only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is price. We can camp at state parks for 1/2 the price and at COE parks for 1/4 the price. I realize those facilities don’t have near the entertainment that Sycamore Springs has.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying again. We would love to offer cheaper rates, but we have to pay taxes on our park so that a state park and COE can use our tax money to lower their rates And build And maintain their parks 🥲

We moved away from Sabetha but we will continue to come back to camp at Sycamore Springs as often as we can! It is the perfect camping place for gathering with friends and family. The kids never get bored with all the fun activities there are to do! Some of their favorite things include the nature playground, skating, and walking the trails. We love this campground.

Our first visit and it was fabulous. We are planning to return in May. Additionally - we are planning a quilt retreat. We will arranging more details for that. The RV park is clean, shady, inviting, and lots of extra activities. We will be bragging to our friends....they need to come!

Great camp ground. Tons of activity for everyone to enjoy. The only thing that we found a challenge was the hookups in the back center sites. Power is located at the ends of the center area, this was difficult to hook up, we had to run and get a 30amp extension cord to get power to our trailer. Some of the plug in panels definitely need some work, breakers held in with duct tape and one entire post had no power. Overall we had a great stay and the owner/ camp manager was great and allowed us to adjust our site so we could be door to door with our friends. We will be back in the near future.

We love this place! Many fun things for the kids to do, quiet and peaceful surroundings. The sites are very close together in some parts but we have been lucky to be there on weekends when they were not full and the host suggested we leave an empty site on each side of our rig. That was perfect. The grass and trees are well kept and it’s just a great place to get away. Thanks!

My wife and I are always on the hunt for amazing camping locations. We have five children who range from 14 down to 2 so finding a place that engages each of our children at their level is difficult. HOWEVER, Sycamore Springs absolutely NAILED IT for us. The campground (we had our RV - pictured below - along with a large family tent) was well maintained and offered a picturesque home base for our trip. The family amenities offered are unmatched by any other campground we have visited. There is a playground, miniature golf, a splash pad, hiking trails, a fishing pond, foosball, a basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a full roller skating rink all within sight of the campground - allowing our children the freedom to explore and hang out together on their own terms. In addition, there is a small hotel and guest house (pictured below) that originally date back to the 1920s that are available and are absolutely beautiful. They would make an exceptional location for a family reunion or gathering of friends. The amount of effort and love that the owners and their family have put into this property is nothing short of amazing. If you are looking for a family-focused location to get away from the distractions of life and relax without just "sitting around" then this is the place for you.

We had an amazing weekend at Sycamore Springs from start to finish! We loved all of the activities available. My grandson stated his favorite activity was roller skating, but he enjoyed everything else, as well, from miniature golf to riding on the tractor cars to playing in the splash pad area. We spent some quality time with other family members who have their own campers. We rented one of the 2 campers which is awesome for those of us who don't have our own campers. I highly recommend Sycamore Springs. I camped there as a child with my family back in the 1970's!!

What a great family place. Our grandson wanted to come back here for the skating a d put put. Bathrooms and facilities are clean and well kept The owners are all very helpful and kind. We did spend time in town at church, the swimming pool, rec center, and Mexican resturante. Each place did not disappoint. We were told later the Sabetha city lake has a swimming beach and Pony lake has walleye and is good for fishing. We'll be back and utilize those locations. Indian Cave State Park is pretty close and has hiking opportunities and the Lewis and Clark museum is worth a visit in Nebraska City. See you again!
