Sunny Valley Campground is situated in a beautiful tree covered setting. The park is conveniently located in Southern Oregon at Exit 71 off of I-5. We are an ideal location for reunions, group gatherings, fishermen, hunters, and rafters wanting to explore Southwest Oregon’s diverse recreational opportunities.

We are halfway between the cities of Medford and Roseburg. Located only 15 miles north of the charming city of Grants Pass the gateway to the mighty Rogue River. The historic Wolf Creek Inn, and the mining ghost town Golden are only a short drive away. Grave Creek runs within walking distance of our campground on its path to meet the Rogue River.

Our affordable lodging options make Sunny Valley Campground a sure bet if you are looking for rest or adventure in a beautiful and relaxing environment.

Great campground for the price. In addition to full hook up sites, they offer tent sites, small cabins and even conestoga wagons to camp in. Had a great conversation with the owners. Nicely shaded campground. They have a small well stocked store and clean bathrooms and shower area.

It was a very nice and clean park. Kid friendly with lots for them to do. Staff was very helpful. Our site was a little tight with dual pop outs. I would recommend this park for sure.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We hope to host you again in the future.

We were at this campground for 3 years during the covid years, 2020, 2021, and 2022 with our teenage grandkids and loved it! There was an awesome gameroom, a volleyball net as well as a basketball hoop set up. The pool was a comfortable degree. This year all of the above amenities were gone and the pool was so cold we couldn't swim for very long at a time! The book exchange was also gone. How disappointing. We love the setting of the campground but now find there is very little to do outside. The bouncy house isnt very appealing. The host was very friendly. Because of the beautiful setting we did rate this a three but we may not stay here again unless it is a convenient spot if we are just passing through.

Campground Response

We're sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay as much as you did in the past. Unfortunately the game room had to get closed due to guests breaking equipment and putting holes in the wall and ceiling. We have added other lawn games such as Ladder Ball, Corn Hole, Bocce, and Large Jenga available in the store for use, as well as the Bounce House of course. The volleyball net had been taken down for an event, we had vendors set up in the area and wanted to give them a little more room, it can be put back. As for the basketball hoop I'm not sure I remember that being available in the time I've been with the campground (2017). The pool typically stays between 68-72 degrees. I can understand why these changes could disappoint you. We do try to think of new things to add to keep everyone entertained during their stay.

Had an overnight stop in our small RV and used partial hook-ups. We were fortunate to stay when they had a complementary BBQ, arts & craft fair and Country group. Brandon & Abby were welcoming & gracious hosts. Facilities were clean, well maintained. The setting is easy access to the 5 freeway, but sheltered from road noise & peaceful. We will make a point of staying again when travels take us to the Grants Pass area.

Campground Response

Thank you for staying with us and enjoying our Rib Cook Off! We are adding more events to the calendar and hope to see you at them or just in the campground for a place to relax. Thank you for your feedback.

Such a magical place!! Shady trees everywhere, it's one big happy family. I was there for their last event and it was a blast. The only Campground that I've ever found a pool in. It was wondrous. They have a great little gift shop that has a beautiful assortment of local Artisans products, and their store even has stuff for kids . Can't wait to go back. This is my happy place.

Campground Response

It's always a pleasure to have you here Sherry! Thank you so much for all the support you give us! Look forward to hosting you again.

We had a nice weekend at Sunny Valley Campground. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Campground was clean. Pool was clean and worked. We liked our camp space, the attendants were friendly. We had power for camper AC. Everything went well, would visit this campground again.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review. Camping can be a dirty activity but clean bathrooms are a must! See you next time.

Our Girl Scout Troop really liked this campground. Nice sized tent camping spaces, clean bathrooms and showers, friendly employees, and easy access from the freeway. You can hear the freeway. We would stay here again.

Loved it (again)! This was our second time back. New owner. Really well maintained. Pool was the favorite. Kids loved the movie shown on the projector at night and there was even a bouncy house.

Great campground with lots of amenities. Clean and well kept. Would happily recommend.

It could have been nice if it wasn't so hot but one meager fan with only one plug for the entire cabin wasn't enough. Plus, the picnic table outside was filthy and I had to use my own rather than take the time to clean off theirs. A nice enough place, although I didn't appreciate the ATV with a Trump banner driving around the place. Hmmm...

This is a rustic campground but not run down. Large sites, slightly un level. But great WiFi. It was very picturesque to be camped in the middle of a forest. We will come back.

Good spot for RV or trailer, not great for tents. This place is pretty close to the freeway so you hear that all the time. There also seems to be a few locals that live at the campground all the time and that was a bit off putting as well. But overall it is an alright place to stay. The kids enjoyed the bounce houses, play area and searching for painted rocks. The bathrooms and camp sites were clean and all have power and water at the sites.
