Love the RV park, country store and town. I stayed 3 nights (working remotely) and spent time walking around the town's streets. There's some very interesting old buildings in town that match Butch Cassidy's Childhood Home (nearby attraction). The store owners are very nice and the general store is well stocked. The RV park has full connections and has a safe feeling about it. Great place to stay as you pass through the area.

nice little park, very little. only has 6 sites so you better call. the staff was awsome. very helpful. they let us get packages there and then brought them over to our site. the sites are very nice, level and had all the amenaties. the little store they have has what you need for extended stays.

These guys are great!!! The night before we were to leave was especially cold, causing me to have electrical problems with my trailer. I was unable to get the landing gear to extend or retract, even while plugged into land power. To make things worse, I didn't have the manual crank for the landing gear, and there's no place to buy one on a Sunday morning. The owners happened to stop by and spent their Sunday morning helping me by fashioning a crank, then helping me get the whole thing up and running. Way beyond what was expected!!! This is just to top off a great place....clean and well maintained. I would DEFINATELY recommend this place to anyone who is coming to the area.

The park is rather basic, but rather nice. It is quiet, even though there are vehicles pulling in to fill up at the gas and diesel pump. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is a nice place to visit to find those little things you may have forgotten or to get something for a quick repair. There is also a coffee shop that has a limited menu of items and has ice cream. There really isn't much else in this small community. Face it, you come to places like this to get away from the city crowds. The only down side is that it is in an area with lots of horses and cattle. The odor of them isn't too bad but there are a lot of flies. Just be aware of it. I'm not downgrading the stars because it is out of control of the park The store does sell products to help control, trap, swat, or otherwise deal with them.

Nice area with lots of fishing, trail exploring, state/national park sight seeing, Stans web page showed 5 star reviews, we booked for a month. Having gas/fuel and general store right there was nice but, states there's a cafe but it was never open the 1st week we were there, Stans need to update web page to inform travelers that only Verizon cell service works in area, no wifi for RV park, and no bathrooms, showers, or laundryroom for travelers. We cut our stay short, not having communication services (cell or wifi), bathroom/shower/laundryroom facilities staying a month wouldn't work for us. If that information would have been provided we would not have even booked for 1 night knowing our cell service provider did not work in area and we couldn't wash our clothes for a month (we were told to go ask the other RV park down the road if we could use their laundryroom). If we had Verizon for cell service provider and a fancy RV with washer/dryer in it, it would have worked but, we have Cricket cell service and a 22 ft travel trailer. We did enjoy fishing, exploring and sight seeing the 1st week and Antimony Merc has great food.

Campground Response

Im sorry for your inconvenience. I do recommend calling the store before you come stay with us with any question we are more than happy to answer anything. It is a good idea to check on availability for cell service we are in a rural community and we do only have a few cell providers that work here. Due to covid sadly the cafe has closed and Im in the processes of taking it off my website. There is a wonderful cafe Butch Cassidys Hideout about a half mile away they have amazing food and desserts. We only charge $22.00 plus tax a night and don't claim to have all the convinces like the RV park down the road. Who are very nice to the people at my RV park and let them use their showers and washer and dryers if needed. Right now our town is being updated with fiber optic line for the wi-fi and hoping to have wi-fi for the park soon, in the mean time I'm more than happy to let people use the wi-fi at the store.
