Pictures are outdated that slide is not there.. the park is nice and clean but staff does NOT answer the phone even during their working hours that would be my biggest complaint even when you leave a message takes forever to return a call. But other then that it's a great park for kids

My wife and I were in Cambridge the first weekend of March 2019 and decided to drive over and check this campground out. The negatives - Our first impression was the entrance needed some attending to. Signs were faded. Little landscaping and not attended to (of course it was March) but first impressions are critical to any business. The second negative were the roads were full of puddles and potholes. Paving roads would be a large capital investment but at least pave up to the check in station and store area. Finally, there were long-term campers scattered around the park. Many seemed to be oil & gas workers. Others appeared empty and maybe summer camps. We understand the attraction of the steady income long term RVers provide but it's a different animal from recreational RVers and we prefer to be around other like minded RVers. Make up your mind what type of campground/ RV park you want to be and stay with it. Trying to mix the two isn't appealing. This campground was large enough they could possibly designate one section to the long term RVers. The positives - it's 1 mile to Cambridge with restaurants, Walmart, etc. Large lake and shelters. Nice play area. We didn't check out the bath houses or store. In summary we may stay here for a night while traveling through but wouldn't see it as a destination.

Staff was so helpful, and even gave us a great recommendation to eat. Big campground, lots of things to do. Would love to camp here more if from around the area. Restrooms were the cleanest ive ever seen at a campground, and its very obvious owners and staff work hard to keep it tip top. No cable and the roads were a little rough.

Reserved a pull-thru site. On arrival, they said there were no pull-thru’s available, so they had “made” a pull thru for us. That is, they directed us to pull into a back-in site by driving over a lawn, and between the utility posts, coming into the site from the back. Never heard of doing this before. Site was at a strange angle to the site next door, so that we could not open our awning all the way — would have hit the corner of our neighbor’s slide. Lots of seasonal residents. We are only here for one night; I would not choose this park as a destination. WiFi is free, and seems to work well. We did not explore the campground. We stayed here in a TT. With a dog. No dog park area. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
