South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop

The South Shore Park is located on the breathtaking Lake Bastrop and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor vacation. Campers can look forward to activities on the lake like fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The Lost Pines Forest is another excellent outdoor spot, and is ideal for the scenic photographer hidden inside every traveler. Other great attractions include the Texas Reptile Zoo, Bastrop County Museum and Visitor Center and the Colorado River Preserve. The surrounding area is also a hub for great local eateries and sights, so many visitors leave the grounds for a day to explore the town.
