Cedar Creek Lake is a breathtaking body of water perfect for fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating, and is also excellent for picnicking, stargazing and sunset viewing. Many visit to enjoy excellent wildlife viewing and birding as well as hiking, biking and exploring. Travelers can also enjoy nearby attractions like the Purtis Creek State Park, Canton First Mondays Trade Days and the beautiful city of Athens. Amenities at the park include: full hookups, 50 amp sites, pull-thru sites to water-only tent sites. Screened shelters and furnished cabins are also available. I have always had a good time here and I was a repeat customer up until recently. I always clean my cabin leaving it as it was found. I was charged a 25$ cleaning fee because I was told the trashcan had trash in it that wasn’t taken out! I can’t debate that because of no pictures when I left. I think that is very petty in every sense. The cleaning fee is not relevant. It’s the way it was done. Very disappointed.

As per our check-out policy that's posted in every cabin, there is a fee charged if there's any trash left in the cabin. We wish we had communicated this with more clarity. When our staff came into the cabin after you left, there was litter in various places, and as such, you were charged. Please give us a call if you have any more questions, because we'd be happy to chat.

If you want the great outdoors with a ton of trees and wilderness, this is the spot! I was in heaven when my husband brought us here on a spur of the moment. It was such a great surprise! The staff was very country and happy to help in any way they could. Everything was nice and cleaned often; I never found a commode dirty! Also there was a plethora of other things to do. I don’t anyone can be bored here as there is just so much to do here in the camp (that’s not including the things you can do with your family, like card games and fire pits with roasted marshmallows and s’mores.) - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
