We love Sargent Beach RV! We didn’t have internet because of the hurricane, but we understand. We know it’s a temporary problem. Sargent got beat pretty bad. We love this RV park and it has been a blessing as we bought lots on Canal Drive and staying at this RV park is so close. We will continue to stay until we are able to stay on our property!!!

Campground Response

Thank you Thank you ! also much Thanks for your patience and understanding. Looking forward to your next visit. Craig

I don’t know anything about the park itself, but we reached out to RoverPass with our concerns about the upcoming hurricane and have yet to receive any response from them although it has been almost two weeks. We have not received a refund or future credit although everyone who was traveling with us has received full refunds from the company they made reservations with. Be careful about who you book your coastal vacation with.

Campground Response

Christine, I am the owner of Sargent beach rv park. Please give me a call when you get a minute. Thanks Craig 214 676 7711

For the price it would be nice to have a bath house. Electric 30 amp service kept flipping the breaker and Craig’s reply was that the electrician was probably already drunk. Therefore the first night was hot humid and miserable. Finally fixed on day 2

Due to the flooding, we were unable to make it. I was not going to put my family in danger.

Campground Response

Maricela, so sorry about the weather, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. I would have not put my family in any danger also. I hope you are all good. Craig

Great quiet getaway. Lovely view to just relax and watch the waves come in. Full hookups-good and ample back in space. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely go back again.

Absolutely love this place. No beach to walk on, but sounds of waves all day and night. Directly in front of ocean. Close to areas with beach to use. I did not use laundry area, but it was available. Very well lit area. I have already reserved my second vacation. Easy.

Beautiful location and very quiet . Only problem was lawn person mowed and weeded on our spot while we sat outside. Almost hit by a rock! Grass over mat and site without blowing off

Campground Response

Dianna, I'm so sorry about that grass problem, I will talk with my landscape person. She has been flawless for over 3 years ! I'm glad it was otherwise beautiful and quiet, that's what we strive for. Hope you can comeback. Craig

Awesome view of the ocean! Great wifi and laundry facilities. Small rv park that is quiet! Great ocean fishing. We caught several black and red drum. One was so big it had to be tagged. Drove jeep on the beach, but watch the tide and narrow shoreline! We will definately be back! ( Showers would be nice though). Love it!

Campground Response

Deborah, Thanks for the kind words. It is always great to hear. Look forward to your next visit. Craig

Lovely private/small campground with full hookups, wifi and quiet. No real beach to access, and biting black flies in April. Lots of tug boats and barges to watch. Road behind campground is used alot by locals. Good view of the eclipse.

This was our first time to stay at Sergeant Beach RV Park and I have to say we were pleasantly pleased. The RV pads were oversized, water pressure was great and let's don't forget about the view. We were in space number 5 and I could have threw a football to someone standing at the edge of the water. Now the only downfall for this park is directly across the street Yes is the water but there's no beach area until low tide which is not a killer for us and I would definitely not downgrade the five stars because of it. If you don't mind walking a little bit during high tide there are plenty of areas where you can have a little bit of beach. While we were there we went ahead and booked our August trip and look forward to enjoying the great view and peaceful serenity.

Campground Response

Zane, thank you so much for the kind words. I think it's a little piece of Heaven too ! We look forward to your return. I'll make sure it's low tide 😃 Craig

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sargent RV Park. Nice and quiet, My only concern was the high grass. Lots of rains recently and the grass was very high. Mosquitoes were bad, partly due to the high grass. Will definitely return though.

Campground Response

Danny, Thanks for the review. My lawn care lady was behind because of the rain, when you come back I am sure the grass will be short and I will tell the mosquitoes to go away 😁 Craig

Excellent view of the Gulf beach. Large level pads and good laundry facilities. WiFi worked and ATT had 1-2 bars. Be prepared to be remote as it’s 30 miles back into town for supplies, groceries or laundry quarters.

Campground Response

John, thanks for the kind words. Always great to hear it ,looking forward to your return. Craig

Beautiful location. However, no showers or bathroom. Kind of pricey for no shower.

Campground Response

Eva, thanks for the review, with my limited space and public bathrooms steps away, I had to choose . I hope you otherwise had a great stay. Craig

Immaculately clean. Small park and right on the beach. Remote, but Dollar General is only a couple miles away has anything you might need. The curly-q overpass to get to the island is a hoot.

Campground Response

Always great to get a nice review, Thanks ! Craig

The place was nice The view was great But we called in advance about bringing an at Atv and was told no additional parking But the next customer that came in had an atv I can understand in the summer with the extra business but in the winter when there were no other campers expected parking was not an issue.

Campground Response

Kathryn, the other person didn't call me and just brought their ATV and took a chance they would find a place for it. I wish I did have overflow parking. I believe that alot of campers park in that property behind me ,which I don't own, so it is at your own risk. I'm sorry that part didn't work out for you but I hope you had an otherwise great time. Craig
