Nice little park with low price. Basic sites with no trees but a nice view of the water. Electric, but water spigots say non-potable. No dump station on site. Directed to use dump station a few blocks away but they charge an additional $10 to dump even if you paid for a site. Main issue is that there’s a freight train depot right next door so trains go by a number of times and some stop and unhook cars early in the morning and bang around quite a lot; very noisy.

Great park area with water access (beach and boat launch), fields, dog park. RV site was large, no trouble finding or getting to our site. As listed - water is non-potable.

Nice campground. Easy set up and check-in. Traffic driving to the trail/bridge was a little fast at times, bathrooms/showers a bit far from the end sites, and lack of shade trees would be the only downsides I can point out. Overall it was a great experience for our family.

Overall a very nice place, large enough sites, nice to have electric, but the non potable water at the site ? There should be a way to get water without going into town. Nice boat landing.

We had a lovely stay at Sara Park Campground. I can't say enough nice things about the whole town of Tomahawk.

Pros: Nice place to camp on the water. Close to town for supplies. Cons: No trees/shade. Bathrooms/showers are just OK. Easily would get 5 stars if the city put some money back into this campground. Plant trees, clean up, fix up and paint the bathroom/showers. Add a couple more openings to the water for access from campsites.

We camped at SARA park campground for two weeks in May and June. What a wonderful experience. The park very close to the city restaurants and downtown. Bicycle trails were wonderful. This is a very nice park, we will be returning in the future. Very neat and clean and the personnel who take care of the park are very friendly. Miranda at the city clerk's office is an exceptional person to deal with.

Beautiful waterfront campsite. Close to the Hiawatha Bicycle Trail and close enough to go into Tomahawk for breakfast and coffee. We would stay here again.

Nice open camping area with firepit and cook grill over pit, public restrooms close by, close boat launch. No shade at any of the sites, zero trees.
