Santa Cruz North/Costanoa KOA

If you want to go over to the coast, south of San Fran on Hway 1, check out KOA campground Costanoa. A bit pricey at around $56 with Good Sam discount, but a lovely park with nice facilities, including horseback riding (for a fee, of course). It is near a lodge with a spa so you could even get a massage. Sites have fire rings and some have decks. Rental tent and traditional cabins. Really nice campground if you enjoy the ease of a KOA type facility, your RV site has pavers and outdoor furniture and of course full hook ups including cable. You need wood? not a problem they bring it right to you for a fee of like $10. Trash you just place at sites edge on road and they pick up.. Also lots of stuff for kids to do and planned activities typically on weekends. Cons are it is cookie cutter packed side by side sites so not any privacy and small sites.
