Patrick Clausen

Everything was great but had Zero WiFi we paid twenty dollars for a 3 day 5 devices plan and got nothing

Campground Response

Hi Patrick, Thank you for the review. We do apologize for the interruption in services but glad things went well. The interruption was due to a large wi-fi improvement project, so there shouldn't be any issues in the future. We hope you stay with us again. Thank you! RVUniverse Campgrounds & SGEC Management

Robert Sargent

If you are tent camping the tent sites with water and power are crowned and rutted from heavy mowing equipment. Bring a cot to sleep on because you won’t find a flat spot anywhere. Also don’t get the end ones by the road, they are the worst for tents due to the ruts and gravel.

Campground Response

Robert, Thank you for sharing this. I do apologize for the uncomfortable camping. We don't normally offer tent camping, but did for this specific event. We want to keep doing events like these and will allow tent camping during those times only. This is good feedback for us to take note of so we can improve for next year! Thank you! - RVUniverse & SGEC Management

We camped on the grass and it had not been mowed. You had the Gravel Worlds there for the weekend and didn’t have the sense or fore thought to mow the grass. 1,450 entrants in the ride and that is your “A” game.

Campground Response

Bob, Again, we apologize about the grass, that definitely wasn't our "A" game. It was great to chat with you! Glad you enjoyed the 75 mile race. Looking forward to seeing you again next year! - Sue M.

Clay Ehlers

Simple gravel lot, but all spots are pull through, litter free, and stable water and electric. Area around dump station has standing water even with little traffic really hot dry days. I wish we had a spot with the awning and patio to the east instead of the west, but I could not make that out on the map.

Campground Response

Hi Clay, Thank you for the review and feedback. We're sure glad you have a good stay overall. I will pass along your note about standing water to our Ops team. We are also continually working on our map functionality to make it easier for our guests to read. We hope you will stay with us again in the future. Thank you! - RVUniverse & SGEC Staff

Great facility.

Campground Response

Hi Jim, Thank you for the review. Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Gary Collins

4.0
Our stay was good, not exceptional just an open gravel lot with water and electricity. There was no open bathhouse or any other amenities made available. But on the other hand, it was quiet and spacious. We would stay there again if the need arises.

Campground Response

Hi Gary, Thank you for the review and feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall and would consider us again in the future. We do have showers available in one of our pavilions and campers have access to those - we do hope to keep enhancing our amenities over time. Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Kari Mullen

My overnight stay at Sandhills Global campground was just great. There were no issues at time of hook-up and the campground that evening was nice and quiet .... even though the County Fair was in full swing. I will definately stay here again!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for staying with us at our SGEC Campground. The County Fair can be a busy time, hope you were able to enjoy in some of the fun. Looking forward to your next stay.

Amy Engel

Great stop for us, friendly and peaceful.

Campground Response

Amy, thank you so much for staying with us. Stop back by anytime.

Marlyn Dougherty

Had no sewer and more importantly, there was no internet.

Campground Response

Hi Marlyn, Thank you so much for staying with us. I am sorry to hear that you were unable to utilize the sewer and internet. We do have both of those amenities available. Specifically for sewer, we have a dump station. We hope to add these to the individual campsites in the future. If you are ever needing something and not sure how to find it, please reach out to our campgrounds manager at 402-441-6545 or 402-429-4536 and we would be more than happy to help. All campground information can be found on our website as well. SandhillsGlobalEventCenter.org > Visitors > Camping I hope you will give us another try. Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Jenny Higgins

Campsites were clean. Please consider getting Sewer into at least the front campsites. The showers are too far away from campsites, you have to go into where crowds of people are and are only available during certain hours.

Campground Response

Hi Jenny, Thank you for the feedback and I you enjoyed your stay overall. Sewers at each campsite as well as more accessible & private showers are something we want to have in the future. We are continuously working to make our campgrounds better and better. We hope you will consider us again in the future. Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Shelly Coe

4.0
Easy to park at, had some issues after a large storm and the staff were kind, helpful and prompt. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the shower house is far from the campground and in the women’s area the shower stalls are not very private or secure.

Campground Response

Hi Shelly, Thank you so much for staying with us and for the kind review. We're happy to hear you had such a great experience with our staff and we will be sure to pass this along. As for the showers, we do plan to continuously improve our campgrounds and showers are one of those amenities that we will work on. I hope you will stay with us again! Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Christine Bankson

We tend to stay often when visiting relatives in Lincoln. On site dump would be very helpful, especially during Husker Football season.

Campground Response

Hi Christine, Thank you so much for the 5 star review! We're happy to hear you have enjoyed your stays. We are working hard to keep improving our campgrounds and we hope to someday have sewers available at each campsite. In the meantime, please utilize our dump station provided. We hope you continue to stay with us and always feel free to provide us feedback. Thank you! - SGEC & RVUniverse Management

Gordon Greene
