We stayed the weekend of the craft show! It was nice because the craft show was right behind our camper! We had a nice stay, the owners seemed nice. We are staying again in the near future.

This was a nice park and we much appreciate the manager allowing us to extend the check in time when we were running late, also for offering the availability of a much nicer pull through spot vs the spot I had reserved. Through no fault of the park, I was unaware of Illinois marijuana laws and was surprised to see several of the campers taking advantage of those laws, certainly their business, but found it sad that it was being done in front of small children. Something other campers may want to be aware of. There was a sign that the beach was closed, not sure if due to recent rains or another reason so you may want to check if planning on swimming on your stay there.

When our group arrived last week, one of our sites had an electrical issue and they immediately sent someone over to our site and fixed it. We really enjoy this campground! Can't wait for the pool to be done!

Quiet setting, lots of shade. Very big lots. Hiking is solid and playing in the creek offers a way to cool off. Very friendly staff and clean restroom with great shower pressure. Would be 5 stars but all sites are only water and electric. Once they get the pool back operational this will be a key spot to get away in the Sauk Valley! I recommend to anyone who will listen.

We had a great time over Memorial Day weekend. The campground was clean, well managed and fun. The newest owners are really trying to make it a very sought after campground. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back and we will also spread the word.
