This park was just as it was advertised. A place to park with full hookups. We were in the area for an event and it was perfect for our needs! Yes, the sites might be a little close together but that seems to be the norm anymore! I enjoyed watching the antelope on the hill every evening!

A very nice place to stay. Friendly staff plenty of room between campers and a nice river that runs behind the camp so you can walk the trail or bring your fly rod and fish. They do allow dogs.

Riverside is our by far favorite campground in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Owners are great and responsive to all of our needs. Reservation process is good in person. Quiet park and great, clean pet area along the river.

We were not able to stay at the Riverside RV park due to our RV breaking down on the trip there. But the owners were great to work with as we kept having delays then finally had to completely cancel. We ended up having to get a hotel but we saw the Riverside RV park while there we surely wish we could have camped there.

The spots are a little narrow for slides but you can make it work. There are no amenities (as stated on the website) like showers or laundry but the park has full hookups 30/50A service, sewer and water, and level pads. The park is quiet and is beside the Hams Fork River. If you're looking for a basecamp for side by side riding or fossil hunting at Fossil Lake, this is a good spot. There are a couple of restaurants in Kemmerer to find a meal and a nice grocery store for supplies.

The spot we were in was level and utilities were great. Internet was okay. The only complaint we had was there were no bathroom facilities on site.

This facility caters to long-term squatters. CONS: sites are close together, had to wait ~ 1/2 hr for someone to show up (I arrived during normal business hours) to assign me a site since the site I was promised at the reservation time had been given away to a long-term squatter. PROS: very convenient location, easy in & out, the rep who showed up to assign me a site (Matt, I think) very friendly/helpful in getting me an alternant site that suited my needs. Recco - operators of the facility should inform customer of the site assignment prior to customer's arrival.

We've stayed at the Riverside RV park every year for several years and intend to continue doing so. The park is extremely clean and well groomed. The owner and her staff are very friendly and willing to go to any reasonable lengths to insure your stay is satisfactory. The park is located next to the Hams Fork river where you can watch osprey catch fish and feed their nestlings or you can float a fly to catch your own trout. Most sites have adequate shade for outside lounging but the trees do not interfere with the ability to get a good StarLink or TV dish signal. The adjacent town of Kemmerer has a museum, rock shop, fossil gallery/shop, antique store, and the "original JC Penney store. The town has the typical Wyoming Rural hospitality vibe. I highly recommend visiting this RV park for either an overnighter or much longer stay. Happy Trails!

Campground Response

Thank you, Will. We always appreciate and enjoy having you. We’re happy you have had good stays and enjoy our town & area✨

It's all about Location location, location. Great spot by the river. Choose the back in sites . More room between sites, shaded, and river sounds. Down side no bathrooms/showers. Come self contained. But Go fossil hunting. Very cool

This park looks better online. There are no facilities and no employees on site. Some of the spots are nicely paved.

Campground Response

Thanks Michelle for staying with us. We are sorry we missed seeing you. We are usually close or on the property to be sure everyone is good. Thank you for your input!

Needs some TLC. Good for a night. Lots of one nighters. There's a need for thorough grass cutting and cleaning. If you can overlook that, there's a splash pad that was popular.

Online reservation process easy, however, paying an extra $5 for a specific spot was not honored. Owner did willingly refund when questioned. Easy to find, lots of room to maneuver, all hookups great. Internet intermittent.
