Rules

Laundry Facility

Located in the bath house (see rules for bath house). Laundry is coin operated. Please bring quarters for service. Single use laundry soap and softener dispenser is also available. When finished using machines, please keep washer lid open to air dry and also remove lint from dryer. Feel free to check out our library in the hallway while you wait on your loads to finish and relax in our lounge.

Bath House

No smoking in the bath house. No pets allowed inside the bath house. No muddy shoes or clothes inside of the bath house. Leave shoes on the porch. There is a water hose nearby the dumpsters if you need to rinse off mud before entering the bath house. Please dry your feet off before walking on the tiled floor so that you do not slip and fall. Please help keep our bath house clean for other guests. Let us know if there is an issue.

Speed Limit

Please keep vehicle speeds down below 10mph for the safety of other guest and to minimize dust. Thank you.

Trash

Please take advantage of our on-site dumpsters for trash in and around your site. Dumpsters are located near the bath house up the hill.

Camp Sites

Please keep the area clean and picked up so that it does not interfere with mowing and yard work. Help Rivershire RV stay clean and welcoming to all of our guests by keeping your area tidy. Make sure your camper's sewer and water fittings are properly installed and secured so that they are not leaking. No outside clotheslines are allowed. Portable grills are encouraged and please properly dispose of the charcoal ashes. If utilizing our fire pits, properly extinguish fire until it is "cold out" and dispose of ashes. Please do not block the drive with extra vehicles. Park extra vehicles up the hill if space is limited.

Check-out for RV Sites

Check-out time is 11am of your departure date. If you need to check-out later, please make sure to discuss availability with us a day or two before your departure. Please remember to pick up your camping area and dispose of your trash in the provided dumpsters near the bathhouse on the hill. Pick up after your pets.

Check-in for RV Sites

Arrivals are self-check-in, and sites are available after 12pm. If you need assistance with your reservation details or RV site location, please contact us at (580)-716-0788 (call or text) and we would be glad to assist you to your site. If you need help spotting your RV, please make arrangements with us to meet you when you arrive.

River Access Rules

We want you to enjoy our river but need to make you aware of some of the simple rules of the Salt Fork River: The Salt Fork River is a privately owned river. Each landowner has rights to the center of the Salt Fork. (we technically own the land under the water). Please be mindful to keep away from other properties. When fishing from the banks or swimming in the river, please stay within Rivershire's property line. When kayaking or canoeing, you are free to travel up/down stream but please stay in your vessel and do not pull up to any other banks but Rivershire's. If you are fishing from a kayak, etc you are free to do so anywhere on the river as long as it is Rod/Reel. Do not set any trot lines as this is considered trespassing. Have fun and be safe!

Pets

To keep Rivershire pet friendly, we request that all pets be on leashes whenever out and about. We also require guests to pick up after their pets. Nobody wants to step in it. Please help minimize your dogs' barking to keep Rivershire a peaceful park Campers with aggressive animals towards other guests may be asked to leave for the safety of everyone involved. Thank you for your understanding.

We loved this campground! It had lots of trees and a great atmosphere. The river was a short walk from the camper and the bathhouse was very nice. The owners came around to meet and welcome the campers. Overall great experience. We will plan to camp there again.

Rivershire RV resort is a wonderful experience! Camp sites are right off the river bank. We caught fish, a catfish which is why we wanted to checkout this resort. It’s a beautiful setting surrounded with trees. In the center of the place is a gazebo that lights up at night. WiFi worked great. They have sewers at each campsite and electric hookups. Pick Nick tables on each site with fire pits and precut firewood on site! We loved spending the whole week out there camping ⛺️ it was quite-n- peaceful. The owners keep it very well maintained! We will be back😃

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Rivershire! This is a hidden gem! The sites all have shade at least part of the day and the grounds were well kept. The bath house was clean and cool! It has two washers and dryers. The toilet, sink and shower are all in a private room and there are two of them. Nice park!

Hi! Thank you for your wonderful review! We love the shade and easy access to the Salt Fork River! We have been working hard to make the access more friendly to all. We have two access points that we point out to our guests but highlight one that we feel is the friendliest. The Western access path is very gradual and we have fashioned some temporary steps until we can build in more permanent steps. As far as slippery goes, we are assuming the approach to the river itself which can be slippery depending on the rise/fall of the river. It is a standard Oklahoma river which can be muddy. We sure do wish we had some of those Arkansas rock river beds, but then again don't you just love the feel of mud squishing between your toes? Takes you back your your carefree younger days!

Thank you for the 5 Stars! We like to think that being near the highway gives our guests fast access to the nearby convenience stores for their dining and camping needs and don't forget we have a couple of casinos just up the road to enjoy as well! We are nestled down a hill and separated by a wall of trees which help dampen the sounds as much as possible.

What a gem! River view, spacious full hookup sites, picnic table and grass. It’s only 18 sites but well organized. There is a laundry/bath house. The owner is working hard to improve the campground and plans to install a deck that overlooks the river. Will definitely be back there.

I loved it!! Very small, I think 15 sites. Had a pucnic table and pit. Had all hook-ups. Lots of trees, view of the River and you can walk down to the river, swim, canoe, fish etc. Lot was level. Was a great stay!

Overall we were pleased with our stay. The spaces are close together, but we had no problem backing in. The laundry and shower was very modern and clean. The Wifi was extremely good and did not have to refresh often. We would definitely come back again.

Reserved for 6/10/24-6/14/24. No one on site. Waited almost an hour for return call for site assign. Fell down incline to river breaking elbow. Left 6/11/24. Suggestions: have someone on site when check-in is expected; install safer access to river.

This is a nice little campground right off Highway 77, very convenient for travelers! It has new owners who are doing a great job improving it. The sites are mostly shaded. Some are shorter so pay attention where you book if your rig is over 35ft. The bathhouse was nice and clean with 2 separate showers, washers and dryers. They are going to put a walkway to it soon which will be great as not everyone has a bathroom in their camper. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back!

Loved the view. The campsite was level and easy to back into. We didn’t get a chance to try out the laundry room, bathroom or shower but the gazebo was very nice a in the center. The campsite was spacious. Our dogs loved it too. We will be returning!!
