It was a quiet stay for us following a family wedding in Ellsworth. Most of the resort was closed (after Labor Day). The pool was open and heated but we didn't use it. We explored and hiked in Osceola, Dresser and St.Croix. Very beautiful area for sure. We had a little trouble connecting with the ranger when we arrived due to the off season, but she was very accommodating. We paid full price for our stay and really suggest having an off season price for the camping only. Overall we were satisfied with the stay.

So friendly, even let us go down the river when there were no shuttles! They even sent the bus down to get us

Full hookup price and no sewer hook. 4 people in a camper, $80.00 per night, the website doesn't tell you it's $15.00 per person per night. Sites were very tight. No shade. Not sure if they had showers. Had to find our own fire ring. Couldn't give us a map of the campground. Only one sewer dump site, had to wait 1/2 hr. in line. No dog disposal bags. Lots of garbage around the campgrounds.

Campsites were spaced well and each had a mature tree. Didnt have much for bathrooms or showers though. Stayed here for the Outlaw Music Fest and they were efficient with check in and shuttle to and from. Definitly recommend for any people heading to a show

Excellent staff! Easy check-in even though it was very crowded. Lots of assistance to get us to the Festival. Clean and large restroom. Also spoke to the owner who is on top of everything. Very good experience throughout

We loved our time at Rivers Edge campground! They had so much to offer, the pool, waterslides, tubing the Apple River, and close to so many different towns/cities. We will be back!

My daughter was arriving late after midnight and they were so accommodating and understanding. In addition I messed up my online booking by accidentally adding a child and they were so nice about it and made it right with the extra money I prepaid. I love this place.

Upon reservation, rented the full RV. Day of reservation received phone call from staff that they had accidentally overbooked the RV (new reservation system recently began and due to error - this was double booked). Staff said they had 1 camper left - thank goodness as we had already begin our drive for our stay. Staff advised the Springdale was the last available camper. Upon advising of this change by phone they said they would comp our parking passes for the inconvenience. As this was definitely an inconvenience I asked that they reconsider just the parking pass and consider a discount on the stay as well. They advised they would talk with management and get back to us. Upon arrival - check in was smooth. They did also give us a discount for the inconvenience in addition to the parking pass. Got the keys to the Springdale and headed up to open it up. Initially, I thought it would be worse than what we walked into. Definitely had a “smell” but it was the god awful air freshener that they had in there. Camper was clean … albeit old and not very inviting. Not what we had signed up for … but we’ll give it a try. As we started to unpack we noticed that the A/C really wasn’t cooling the place down. Noticed the ceiling cover for the A/C was removed and we had exposed mechanicals. But assumed all would be fine. Had a bonfire with friends, came back to the RV for bed and it still hadn’t cooled down 4 hours later. It had been raining a bit as well and noticed there was a small amount of water on floor. As it was 10pm at night - we just needed some sleep. Went to bed and woke to a bigger puddle on the floor. We also woke to the refrigerator “defrosting” and water was all over our food - and had to toss the food as I have no idea what leaked all over it. Not the best way to wake up. Decided at that moment we would not be staying for the additional night that we had booked and checked out. I will say that staff was easy to work with upon check out and did take care of us and apologized. Advising they had no idea that the camper leaked. But for what they charge for the nightly experience the camper and grounds should be a TON better! Bathrooms were definitely lacking - not clean! We sadly would never stay again. With some upgrades this could definitely be a great adventure.

We used to camp down the way but have since started coming to rivers edge. I wish they had the back tubes to float down the river on and I also wish they didn’t book sites so close to each other. We were in a nearly empty row of campers but all 3 campsites next to us were full. I would prefer them to spread the campers up a little more. There are no bathrooms besides porta potties which is fine. The normal campground we used to go to had pit toilets with a little more space inside which I liked more. I also don’t like that you have to pay $20 per float now which is crazy expensive.

Had a great weekend camping. Although the spacing is kinda small I know to pay for 2 conjoined spaces. Tubing was great. Just stay in your tube. Over all great time and staff was pleasant.

Overall it was an okay stay at the campground. Dislikes: -Not organized at all! -teenager running the place -got over charged -Definitely not kid friendly - screaming intoxicated adults until 4am -it took forever to get anything from staff. -everything is so spread out Liked: -Clean bathrooms/showers -decent sized tent sites. -store on campground had what you needed at a fair price - Tubing: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Do not go! Not well monitored throughout the river. Logs the size of 5ft sticking out. Gave my family member a concussion and I lost my phone trying to save her from the logs. The river has big rocks that hurt you as you went a long the river. Absolutely worst river tubing experience of my life!

Good- shower house clean and hot water Bad- booked a site with electric and water. No electric on camp site! There was a weekend long Bachelorette/Bachelor party next to us. They stayed up both Friday/Saturday night to Atleast 3am. Loud, obnoxious. They left beer/booze cans all over by cabins and tents and at the shelter. Told staff nothing got done. Had to pay $10 to park my van to at campsite. Don't camp here if you have kids or want to sleep.

Very poorly run. Not organized. Spots are very tight and no curfew was ever enforced. Grown adults were smoking while INSIDE pool. No signage for where to park. No maps were given, you were left only to go find it on your phone. This was hands down the worst camp site I have ever been to. Better off staying at a Walmart parking lot.

Prices are too high for what you get. We are going to look into other rivers for next year. For a family of 5 to tent camp and float down the river once for 1.5 hours we spent close to $400. Definitely not worth it.

Our time at riveredge did go well We were in site 79 right next to the port a pots so the site smells. People walking though the site. People racing around in pickups and carts. Our windshield on our jeep got a chipped. Don't think we'll be back.
