The Rio Chama RV Park is nestled in a grove of trees at the intersection of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and the upper Rio Chama. At a 7,800 elevation, visitors can enjoy excellent weather and dense, thriving foliage to view and hike through. For people wanting to explore the area or fish, this is the perfect spot. Nearby is Abiquiu where you can catch one of their many annual festivals, Pagosa Springs, Great Sand Dunes National Park, the Echo Amphitheater, Ghost Town and Chaco Culture National Historic Park. With so much to see and experience nearby, this park is one of the area's most popular RV spots. Book early!

Absolutely fantastic. Fantastic layout, next to Rio Chama river - some sites actually overlook the river. Rail cars throughout the park. Can stand next to train trestle bridge and watch the daily train. Right next to train depot. See wildlife throughout the park.
