. So I stayed a week & they charged me 55 a day. Then i need an extra day & then i was charged 70 plus a day 'But then there’s a guy named Kenny that thinks he owns the establishment that tells people to leave if you don’t like way they do things. And all we asked for was could you put on sports center in the pub . The guy was confrontational not where I’d like to hang out. Our group felt very threatened so we left and we will never return again.

Only giving this place a two star rating, because our waitress (I believe her name was Cassidy), was 5+ stars and the kitchen was a -3. We tried to order food at the outside bar and was told no, after having menus in our hands they were ripped out! Mind you, other people are eating. We walk inside to order food, party of 8. We were told you have to sit outside with a big party (on the porch, not the tiki bar where we came from). Finally they sat us. Over an hour went by, and we have no food! Asked what the problem was, as we watched several tables come, eat, and leave. Our food finally comes out, our catfish sandwich was completely raw inside. The manager was slightly rude, maybe overwhelmed but whatever. Half of us didn’t eat our food, which they ended up comping. We paid for our drinks and tipped %100 on every tab. I don’t know if I will return to eat, but if I ever go back for drinks I will request Cassidy.

Check it out on FB. It's a new campground, right down the road from Welaka Lodge. Paved sites, pull through and back1ins. Boat slips and wonderful tiki bar. they also have cabins and will have a pool, clubhouse, laundry, restaurant and more cabins upon completion. Owners are great! It's our go-to campground in the area! We love it! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This campground was very pleasant. I am very glad we decided to come here to check it out as we were not disappointed one bit! They have great prices, so many activities to choose form that will make anyone satisfied, and a lot of camp sites to choose from. We didn’t want to stay in our RV but camp out in our tents and it was really great to be able to have the option to do that. Also so close to the river made this experience that much better as we didn’t have to travel far to splash around or fish. I know we will choose this place again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
