The spot was large with a campfire. My hammock fit perfectly between two trees. The birds kept me entertained and the price was very affordable. I made memories I will never forget.

Great Staff. My dog and I were tent camping. And a storm was coming high gusts, hail, heavy rain. And they offered us a room for our safety. Totally worth the five star review. Campsite: I got the electricity and water option. Nice area. Not too keen on the portapotty. The main bathroom shower house was under construction. But decent. Lots of activities, corn hole, playground, etc.

The area is lovely, but the campground does not reflect the beauty of its surroundings. The water spigot was broken but thankfully my husband used our personal spigot to fix the problem. The outhouse toilet was full, no trash removal so trash bags piled up around the outhouse. The toilets did not flush well in the bath house. We appreciated hot water for showering and the electric hookup. Twice we were assured that someone would be by to fix the spigot but no one ever came so we had to leave our personal spigot on site or get drenched when unhooking.

Campground Response

Thank you for the review, the trash guy missed the trash by the outhouse sorry about that, I only have maintenance men half a day twice a week, the problem did get fixed after you left when I had a maintenance man available, the spigot had a cap on it before you arrived to stop the leaking, you could of put that cap back on, I thank you for being considerate and leaving the spigot so water wasnt wasted. I would be happy to return that to you, we are currently looking into the showerhouse toilets to see why they arent flushing well, that will be fixed as soon as possible, the showerhouse is on the schedule to be remodeled though. I would be more than happy to offer you a free nights stay for the inconvience of your stay and hope you come back and really enjoy the beauty of the area at Rebecca Creek Campgrounds. denise mgr.

There was no water in the creek and the camp site was full of stinging nettle. The campsites were close together even though there were many open farther away from people, they could have spread people out. We left early due to the fact we were having a horrible time with all these problems.

Campground Response

Hello and so sorry to hear this. There is water just a ways down the creek bed. All our booking is done online not in the office so I have no say over where people book, if you didnt like your spot I could of changed you to another I did do that for a few already. I am very flexible with makeing adjustments, if i would have know i would of made some for you as well.I am sorry you left early and hope you will come back and give us another chance. thank you

I booked a Sat-Sat, and stayed approximately 20 mins in my car. I was going to tent canp while waiting for my apartment to become available but I felt extremely uncomfortable there. The primitive and "upgraded" sites were packed and everyone was on top of each other. Primitive sites are in a really small circular area and there wasn't anyone there to check in with, so really, anyone could just be there. It felt like they'd overbooked. As a woman alone I didn't feel comfortable. Unfortunately the deposits are non-refundable so I lost a large chunk of money.

Campground Response

We do all our booking online, I can not control where anyone books, the circle area you are talking about is just a camping spot not the whole primitive area we have a whole field for primitive, thats just a favorite spot of guest. Check in is before 5pm and if no one is in the office there is a sign on the door for you to call, you did book during a busy time and there is no way we can over book cause we do that strickly online, I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable and hope that there is something I can do to make things better for you. sincerly RCC mgr.

Place was ok. RV area was empty. My water and electricity worked great! Lots of construction and updates in progress. They are hurting because of the drought- no water activities since the river is dry.

We stayed in one of the glamping tents. Comfortable bed, good campsite. They have a lot of new additions and good work being done around the place. The bathrooms were always clean. The bad was that place is a pretty trashy when you first pull in, the bathrooms are pretty good haul from the campsite, there has not been any water in this part of the river for years. I thought they advertised walking trails, but I couldn't find any. They could use a little more work, but I would do it again.

The Glamping Tents were much smaller than appeared in pictures, one cot was put away with pee on it, when we took it out for use elwe found it. The bedding was clean and the tent was comfortable. No coffee pot, we had to ask, the AC worked great. The showers and restrooms were far from camp and the men's room only had one shower and no door, men and boys showered in the ladies which wasn't a big deal to us personally, just an observation. The grills were almost not usable due to rust. Staff was nice, friendly but we did have to wait 15-20 mins for them to come to the office for check in. The creek was dry, obviously not their fault but it could have been mentioned on social media or their website as it's been dry for a while. Volleyball, play area, and corn hole were great as there isn't much else to do onsite. It looks like more amenities are in the works as there's construction going on. For the cost, a hotel/VRBO might be a better option.

This place was amazing, we were only there for one night and can’t wait to go back. The staff is amazing and provided exceptional service! The night sky was an added bonus ☺️

I've been planning for months now to host a festival here in May that was agreed upon back in September with Michelle. I've taken out advertising, sold tickets, ive been working extremely hard on this just to be told yesterday that they are under new management and the new management is not in the same agreement. Matter of fact they no longer are ok with me hosting this festival there anymore. A festival that is right around the corner, a festival I've been advertising for mind you also advertising the campground. The only reason I found any of this out is because I finally put my foot down and asked for the contract to be signed. A contract she's been sitting on for weeks. Now as a perfessional or even common courtesy don't you think that at some point, any point someone should have reached out or maybe even replied to one of the many messages I sent in to let me know of the changes? New management and changing in a company does not happen over night, this was obviously in the works and to not at any point let your customer know of the changes is just beyond me. These are not good people so please be careful doing business with them.

Campground Response

last year we went out of our way to help with this event took everything off the books so you can have the whole area, last minute you cancelled the whole event, we lost out on alot of money due to not demanding an nonrefundable deposite up front ( thats on us for not doing that). We went by faith and trusted you will deliver. We can not do that again, so unless you can deliver up front, no smart business person is gonna go out on a limb again in hopes you dont cancel last minute or no shows. I am not going to bash you just know we thank you that you did consider us a place for your Raggae festival, but like I said you will have better luck down river road where there is better foot traffic. Thank you Denise

We stayed 4 days and loved our spot on the creek even though it was dry. Would have loved to make a fire but the burn ban was in effect. The black water dump was not marked at all. We had to ask 3 times where it was located and finally a gentleman pointed it out. We enjoyed the views and the solar eclipse and the many deer freely roaming the area. Bathrooms were in need of clean up or renovation. We were surprised that there weren't many people there given it was the week of a solar eclipse. Wondering if we'll ever get enough rain so the creek will flow.

Love. The. New. Look!! Been here 4 times now and each time gets better and better! This time they added pools to the glamping tents because the river is dried up with this drought. we couldnt have a campfire ...burn ban :( But the pool made up for it!! And they are building new glamp sites!! We just booked for August to come back and stay again!

Rebecca Creek was amazingly staffed. We booked a Glamping spot and the day before we were to arrive, my wife was having a medical emergency. I went thru normal channels to cancel the reservation. It was written all over that we had chosen a 10% discount in return for a non-refundable rate. To my surprise, a full refund was deposit to our bank the next day. We WILL make it there after all this medical stuff is dealt with. Kudos to Rebecca Creek!

Decent place for the price. Creek is currently dry, but a 10 minute walk through the creek bed will get you to a nice swimming hole. Bbq pit was rusted and unusable, bring your own if you plan on cooking on a grill. Kinda sketchy driving thru the main part of the park. But its pretty empty and open down by the creek bed.

The camping spot we were in (P18) was great! It was far enough away that it was quiet and enjoyable. The employees were very nice and helpful. Overall, the place was a little run down, but you can tell efforts are being made to update it. We had a great time! There was live music and a comedy show one night that was very enjoyable.

Campground Response

Thank You Fawnya, we all had a great weekend and glad you did too!! Come back and see us again anytime!!!

It was memorial day weekend so it's less serious, but our site was taken and we had to just claim an open one. The sites were small and the site numbers were barely visible from the road.

In my opinion, a wonderful place to camp. Staff was very nice and helpful. If your looking for a quiet place close to canyon lake with wonderful scenery this is the place! If your looking for a prissy, butler having "camping" spot this spot is not for you. Overall I loved my three day weekend experience at Rebecca Creek campgrounds and will definitely visit again!

This place advertises year round water access and fantastic amenities and delivers on neither. Our group booked multiple campsites together for a weekend. No one got the places they reserved, apparently their map online is out of date. The spot we reserved was clearly occupied by permanent residents. They spilt up our group, and when we said something, they squeezed us into individual sites, on "the island" Let's be clear the island is a roundabout. And we needed to squeeze multiple groups into one site. People next to us reserved a glamping experience and were met with a moldy tent and mattress. We looked and it was literally the stuff of nightmares. Like they pulled it straight out of a crack house. We met a lot of people with a similar experience to ours.

Great space great experience. The people running the establishment are the most benevolent and accommodating group of people you will ever meet.
