Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA

Take note, this is the KOA south of Pueblo on I-25, not the one north of town and this one is a bit further out but, in our opinion, much nicer. Easy on and off the expressway, gas, diesel, convenience stores nearby. Restaurants (one within walking distance) if you don't want to cook. Spaces are large with a great comfy swath of grass between each. We stayed here in our Class-A and had plenty of space to stretch out without bumping into our neighbors. I loved the great grass because it meant this Florida raised girl could go barefoot from the coach to the provided picnic table. Pull through sites are nearly level and gravel and include a picnic table but NOT a grill or fire ring. Back in sites including a grill or fire ring. There are also cabins for rent should you have additional needs. The park has a pool (not yet open when we were there), hot tub (adults only) and 2 puppy parks. There's also a mini-golf and a playground. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. Wi-fi signal was excellent but speeds crawl around 7:30 each night when everybody seems to get online. Cable TV works great and has plenty of channel choices.
