The Philipsburg Bay Campground is adjacent Georgetown lake, and is perfect for a quiet yet adventure-filled outdoor experience. The site is popular for trout fishing, but is also great for wildlife viewing outside of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, moose and even bears, as well as the sights and smells of the gorgeous lush forests. Canoeing and boating are also popular, as is hiking and horseback riding. The high elevation ensures excellent weather for all kinds of activities, so be sure to plan a long trip to experience it all!

Amenities at the park include: boat ramp, tent camping sites, trash collection, water, grills, picnic tables and RV hookups. We hope to see you at Philipsburg Bay for your next Montana vacation!

Phillipsburg Bay is a great campground! There are sites for tents and RVs, but there are no hook-ups. Also the drinking water is great, but know that it is available at several hand pump wells around the campground. Wildlife viewing is plentiful here. Deer, elk, moose, and even bears are seen here. More bald eagles than I've ever seen in one place! The fishing is fantastic. Trout and salmon abound. 17" to 19" trout are common here but don't be surprised if you land a 24" or 26" trophy. You'll want to plan on more than a one night stay for sure. Time spent here is time we'll spent!
