Permian Lodging is located in the beautiful Texas town of Midland, and is a great spot for an easy-going southern vacation. Just beyond the campground, travelers can expect great attractions such as the Joyland Amusement Park, Fort Concho museum and exhibits, Permian Basin Petroleum Museum, Museum of the Southwest and the George W. Bush Childhood home. There's also the Fredda Turner Durham Children's Museum, Aquarium Technologies and the Permian Basin Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. And of course, travelers can expect a number of excellent local eateries and watering holes. This is a very special and unique park as it’s mainly for people who are visiting for temporary work or for oil field housing. For the regular RV campers we were welcomed just the same. The staff was super nice and helpful. The amenities were nice as were the utilities. Everything was so clean it was a nice pace for a change. I liked how everything was placed as it was easy to navigate. The sites were decently sized and there was room for everyone. This place really tries to be a home away from home as there are a lot of people who come and visit for work.
